After reading the first half of the thread I thought it was going to be about funny dating stories or some thing about crazy bitches.
yeah sorry, wasnt in the mood for my first post but plenty of stories tucked away there for the right time. I did ask for others to throw some in, get the ball rolling etc!
had a girl a few weeks back meet me for coffee, seemed to go ok and she was reasonably attractive. Offered to walk her to the station afterwards which was a few blocks away and on the way down towards central she mentioned she was actually going to see her therapist in the city. Apparently if she didnt stay on her meds she suffered from the constant need to punch walls and lash out violently at random passersby..I thought 'for sure this bitch is trolling me' but nope, straight face and even showed me some very skinned knuckles to prove it..I was. Impressed.
If y

ou just wanna get some booty why don't you go to a nightclub that well known for its lowys and be a cretin. After a while you'll get what you're after, big guy.

meh, three things.
1. i do actually want a legit gf, you know, someone to take to the movies, have shit to talk about with when i get home and yeah ok, all that soppy romantic stuff. What can i say? Hollywood has brainwashed me to a degree, i might joke about slaying bitches and even if im really lucky get to lie down next to the occasional girl IRL even though i might not see her as the future mother of my children. But hey, its a long road to happiness, might as well enjoy the journey..but that doesnt mean I dont want to meet a nice girl and settle down one day.
2. I was in a club the last 2 wknds running, best i could manage was a compliment about some chicks dress which got me nowhere and the last time? got too shitfaced to even ask a girl her name. Yup, the internet dating thing has definitely retarded the development of any IRL social skills..
3. who you calling big guy? lol i be totally svelte brah.
If a

ll else fails, there are plenty of good happy ending places to visit

haha not while theres no overtime going at work and hence no fat bill folds in my wallet.
Also with the youtube/ Pick up artist stuff, watched some of it, even had a friend swear by it. He, however was an outgoing confident guy and it came naturally for him, some of the tips and tricks i have read about sound like great ideas but its one thing to nod your head sagely while learning it and another to apply it on an attractive total stranger..

yeah its getting so bad i might have to look her up, i got this email today

Hi Pat,
Racing car drivers! Ha ha :) Thank you! I'm really sorry Pat, you seem like a genuinely lovely person and I would have liked to get to know you better but my circumstances have changed in the last few days and I'll be taking a break from online dating for a while. Good luck with your search.
Regards,"
guess its back to filling the hot chicks thread

Pat's too much of a nice guy in a creepy older guy way. I bet he compliments them every chance he gets, pays for all their shit and gives em everything they want. Doesn't help he looks in South East Asia for his females.

    • For once a good news  It needed to be adjusted by that one nut and it is ok  At least something was easy But thank you very much for help. But a small issue is now(gearbox) that when the car is stationary you can hear "clinking" from gearbox so some of the bearing is 100% not that happy... It goes away once you push clutch so it is 100% gearbox. Just if you know...what that bearing could be? It sounding like "spun bearing" but it is louder.
    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
