Nothing. You're off the grid. The absolute freedom and ability to do anything you've ever dreamed of is so infinite and full of potential for regret that you will ultimately end up falling into a daily routine of nothing because of your overwhelming choice.

yup. wake, tv/xbox, eat, tv/xbox, eat, sleep, repeat.

got something lined up mate? i know a joint where you can get manual work if you need anything to tide you over.

Yeah I'll have something soon. Just been trying for jobs I want rather than jobs I can get!

Got a screwed shoulder, so will be sticking to desk jockey shit. I actually miss manual labour. Cheers!

The time off isn't all bad. Gives you a whole different perspective on life/work and some realisation about the self. Certainly see how much people depend on their jobs to define their lives!

Cool! Still, dat mid mount engine...seems like pain in the ass to work on.

Other than that, you got an awesome all rounder and better looking than the Carrera IMO. Older models still look good and the S isn't too bad on price.

cayman better than carrera? trippin son!

This! Certainly don't like it when people change themselves to suit the job, as in their personal likes/hobbies etc.... despite them not liking it. It's all a facade imo!

Lemonade scones with cream and jam

I'll get the oven ready, how do you like your tea? Special milk? ;-)

lol yup...you don't realise how much most people just whinge about their job, including your former self, until you don't have it anymore. Give up their youth and sanity for some of the worst jobs, but depend on it for their identity. And then dead before they know it!

Best job I ever worked was 4 days a week. Not just a shorter working week, but a longer weekend. That was proper living!

thats fine provided the $$$ are there to sustain the standard of living you desire, I'm yet to find anyone who walks the ultimate balance of lifestyle and income ideally 80-100k 5 days a week 9-5pm would be the absolute ideal situation however not sure how likely that is for most people.

Farking wish my part timer was a 9-5, I'd be rolling in it with less stress than a supermarket shelf stacker.

You're right though, unless you're lucky it's difficult to have a baller lifestyle without the high hours job to go with it. Sometimes it just ain't worth it though...my mate must be on close to 120 now and he's the most depressed, stressed out, time lacking person with no social life. He's setting himself up well for the future, but fark, if you're 40 before you start having any fun or time to yourself, I don't want any part of it! Think he's close to quitting!

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.
    • My Nismo 1.5 churps a bit on reverse turns when cold, but besides that feels like a stock diff.
    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts
    • Bunnings would have just handed you your money back on that one!
    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
