So, at the Stagea 15th Anniversary cruise, Terry, Eric, Dave and myself mentioned that we have quite a few events left to run before the year is out, and we'd ALL love to see more Stageas attending and taking part. Here's a quick run-down of our remaining events for the year:

I would love to go to more but tonight is my bucks night and I get married in 3 weeks and work is flatout. Once it all calms down count me into all events I promise after the cruise 2 weeks ago I am now even more in love with my stagea and how it handled in the wet I want to see it on a track.

See you at the legends dinners....and I promise I'll start going to a couple of track days and other fun events as soon as it get the current problem sorted and both of the new diffs in.

would love to get out and have some fun but not to sure how the M35 would handle the tightness of the TexiKahana.

the trackday would be sick but its a fair drive down just for the day.............

My Soarer weighs 1700kgs + signle spinner diff and beat SSS pulsars etc in the wet at texi

Sadly won't make the Suspension tech night; Nightshift.

Any Texi spots left? I bet nobody has seen an incompetent driver wobble a Black Volvo around witches hats before?:whistling:

Need to get that SAU membership form filled out; thanks Nick.

I'd love to make it to more events, but travel time is an issue in my situation. Another problem for me is that the car is my daily, which kinda rules out trackdays for the time being, as much as I would like to do one. Breaking the daily while its a couple hundred km's away from home would suck, to say the least.

i reakon the trouble will be huge turning circle, the throttle restriction off the line and not being able to use the hand brake (foot brake) LOL plus its not manual LOL.............

but yes a wet track might help a bit!!!

Hi Nick. The link in your sig needs fixing.

The link to the membership forms? I'll check that soon...

Leon, I checked the link and fixed it. Seems as though the thread the original link was in had been moved.

Shame you won't make it, Dale.

Plenty of Texi spots left, and if it doesn't fill out (which is unusual, so get in quick) it just means you can spend more time out there on the skidpan, or take longer breaks between runs and not run the risk of missing out.

Do it, Theo! (And EVERYONE, for that matter!) Don't worry about times, just come out and have fun! I'm sure you'll get around the corners much better than the guys from the Camaro club who brought their cars out for one of our days. You know what Yank cars are like: nice to look at and go damned fast in a straight line, but as soon as it comes to slowing down and taking a corner, they just speared off on their own little adventures.:whistling:

meh are you there to be the 1 car that wins or one of the 40 cars that has a great day's fun?

This man, he knows! And he is exactly right! Our days are designed for fun so you can throw your car around to your heart's content with no risk to your license.

    • ok so if i wanted to go 18's i would go for 8's  in front 30+ or 32+ off set at front and the back 9 would be ok? what offset should i aim for.. then can i do some  hunting for wheel rim choices..    If i get this - will this fit all around: Size: 18 x 8.5 +37 - n what tyres size tyre should i get for front n back?
    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
