okay, got an easy-ish way to get 2.1 mil for michael early on in the game (just after jewellry store heist). Needs a little bit of cash to do, but I'm up to having done all the cars with only the cash on me; there's 35k after that but I can earn that quick enough. Takes a bit of time to do, but hey, on a second runthrough, I'm not worried about speeding through it.

http://imgur.com/a/tevGp <----- locations of all the cars for the mission set.

1 - Open the internet browser of your in-game phone, go to the Epsilon website "epsilonprogram.com" and complete the evaluation - any answers
2 - A question mark will show up in Raton Canyon after a while. Go there.
3 - After the cutscene you will get an e-mail. Open the attached link and donate $500 to the Epsilon website.
4 - The Epsilon symbol will appear on the world map after some time. Go back to your house and save the game a couple of times until the symbol shows up on the world map. Go there.
5 - After the cutscene you will get an e-mail. Open the attached link and donate $5,000 to the Epsilon website.
6 - Go to the next Epsilon symbol (takes some time until it shows up on your map, go to sleep in your safehouse again).
7 - Collect all the vehicles and return them to the location unscratched - imgur album to help. Place to drop them will be on your map; a white double-garage.
8 - Go to the next Epsilon symbol (takes some time until it shows up on your map, go to sleep in your safehouse again).
9 - Complete the mission.
10 - Donate $10,000 to the Epsilon website.
11 - Go to the next Epsilon symbol (takes some time until it shows up on your map, go to sleep in your safehouse again).
12 - After the cutscene you will get another e-mail. Open the attached link and buy the robes for $25,000 from the Epsilon website.
13 - After the robes are being deliverd (takes 1 day), get them from Michaels closet. You need to wear them for 10 cumulative days. Keep going to sleep until 10 days have passed.
14 - Go to the next Epsilon Symbol, after wearing the robes for 10 days. You might need to take a few more naps before the symbol shows up properly.
15 - Complete the mission.
16 - Go to the next Epsilon symbol (takes some time until it shows up on your map, go to sleep in your safehouse again).
17 - Wander 5 miles through the desert wearing Epsilon robes. After that you will get a call, take it!
18 - Go to the final Epsilon symbol (takes some time until it shows up on your map, go to sleep in your safehouse again).
19 - Finish the mission. To get $2,100,000 and a gold medal you must kill everyone and escape with your vehicle.

haha :)

yeah a bunch of steps to deal with those cult people (scientology parody). most of the steps are pretty straight forward, but finding those cars is a pain in the ass hence why i made that album.

changed it to after the first heist - don't have quite enough money to do the 10k, let alone the 25k.

seems like there's heaps of side stuff like that - i found the steps elsewhere, but condensed them and put locations of the cars (that part took me over 2 hours or so to find them! ugh - the Surano is the hardest one because people don't drive it around.)

anyone get the email from the wellbeing people....

though f**k it, ended up taking a few surveys and giving them about 70k. i got shit loads of money and thought it might unlock something but didnt....

happend with franklin...

Think I f**ked the stocks for the first assasination mission. Bought the right ones before the mission and completed it. Then left them in there, and now they have gone right back down :(

There is no instruction on how long to leave them in there lol. I thought they would go up more

My copy finally arrived yesterday.

Just joined SkylinesAustralia crew. Looking forward to f**king shit up come September 30.

How much does xbox live cost these days? I need to buy/fix a RROD console soon and get this game, threads making me jealous.

I'm sorry, I play on PS3. But I think XBL is either $5 or $10 a month...

    • @Haggerty you still haven't answered my question.  Many things you are saying do not make sense for someone who can tune, yet I would not expect someone who cannot tune to be playing with the things in the ECU that you are.  This process would be a lot quicker to figure out if we can remove user error from the equation.
    • If as it's stalling, the fuel pressure rises, it's saying there's less vacuum in the intake manifold. This is pretty typical of an engine that is slowing down.   While typically is agree it sounds fuel related, it really sounds fuel/air mixture related. Since the whole system has been refurbished, including injectors, pump, etc, it's likely we've altered how well the system is delivering fuel. If someone before you has messed with the IACV because it needed fiddling with as the fuel system was dieing out, we need to readjust it back. Getting things back to factory spec everywhere, is what's going to help the entire system. So if it idles at 400rpm with no IACV, that needs raising. Getting factory air flow back to normal will help us get everything back in spec, and likely help chase down any other issues. Back on IACV, if the base idle (no IACV plugged in) is too far out, it's a lot harder for the ECU to control idle. The IACV duty cycle causes non linear variations in reality. When I've tuned the idle valves in the past, you need to keep it in a relatively narrow window on aftermarket ecus to stop them doing wild dances. It also means if your base idle is too low, the valve needs to open too much, and then the smallest % change ends up being a huge variation.
    • I guess one thing that might be wrong is the manifold pressure.  It is a constant -5.9 and never moves even under 100% throttle and load.  I would expect it to atleast go to 0 correct?  It's doing this with the OEM MAP as well as the ECU vacuum sensor. When trying to tune the base map under load the crosshairs only climb vertically with RPM, but always in the -5.9 column.
    • AHHHH gotchaa, I'll do that once I am home again. I tried doing the harness with the multimeter but it seems the car needed a jump, there was no power when it was in the "ON" position. Not sure if I should use car battery jump starter or if its because the stuff that has been disconnect the car just does send power.
    • As far as I can tell I have everything properly set in the Haltech software for engine size, injector data, all sensors seem to be reporting proper numbers.  If I change any injector details it doesnt run right.    Changing the base map is having the biggest change in response, im not sure how people are saying it doesnt really matter.  I'm guessing under normal conditions the ECU is able to self adjust and keep everything smooth.   Right now my best performance is happening by lowering the base map just enough to where the ECU us doing short term cut of about 45% to reach the target Lambda of 14.7.  That way when I start putting load on it still has high enough fuel map to not be so lean.  After 2500 rpm I raised the base map to what would be really rich at no load, but still helps with the lean spots on load.  I figure I don't have much reason to be above 2500rpm with no load.  When watching other videos it seems their target is reached much faster than mine.  Mine takes forever to adjust and reach the target. My next few days will be spent making sure timing is good, it was running fine before doing the ECU and DBW swap, but want to verify.  I'll also probably swap in the new injectors I bought as well as a walbro 255 pump.
