Followed SLY 032 @ 1.00 pm today heading north on Goody Rd, Daw Park for a short distance...........nice wheels!

Wasn't in my 34.....was in a sedan? with black windows.

Starting to really like the look of 32's!!

Spotted a bayside blue 34 GTR on Port Rush Road today about 4pm (he was heading north, me south). Plates something to do with VSPEC I think, but DAMN it was nice. young-middle age guy driving.

spotted kisin's old 34 parked on north terrace (at one of the hotels, cant remember/dont care which) last night at about 7pm.

and today at about 3pm seeing my magna that has served me faithfully for 300,000 kays being loaded onto the back of a flatbed. dead as a doornail.

spotted a black r34 on portrush rd early this morning around 6.30 am, and then a white r34 with no wing and with a bomex kit on main north rd late this afternoon

very noice!!!!!

saw a silver 33 about 9ish tonight heading down marion rd, had a gunmetal 180 infront of it with twin cannons.

Also a silver 34 parked at the small lot of shops on south rd just after the bp, cant remember wat intersection, but it the big bp with the truckstop kinda near port rd.

spotted red 33 at the start of pt wakefield st, got a wave gave a delayed 1 back (i only jus woke up)

also spotted a rather tough looking r33 GTR on mcintyre rd not sure if it was black or dark purple(my sunnies make everything shiny n black look purple)

also spotted the xmas grinch reversed into my daily at the shop and failed to leave a note (i know its a piece of sh*t but reversing into it a 40k's is a lil disrespectful) and again a few days later smashing the window to try and get into a car that can be opened with a pair of scissors, only to check out my extensive retro cassette tape collection (go the 8track)

spotted a gunmetal grey 32 gtr get pulled over on anzac international raceway last nite about 10pm... also spotted that same cop try to pull me over (i had a 'phone call' and had to stop while they drove past ;) FYI this works 9/10 times when the cops r following u and sussing out ur car and you dont feel like a possible defect).

also spotted a red 2 door 31 with white wheels driving like a complete fk tard turning off sth rd onto anzacs heading toward town.. i have nothing against a bit of spirited driving, but with a car full of ppl and in a densely populated area??? hope its no one from here

    • HFM BM57 has a "bad" knee point, IIRC. It's not the same thing as the later R chassis MC.
    • The ATTESSA is functionally identical to R34; there were a bunch of JDM models that continued ATTESSA including Fuga/Q70, Skyline/Q50, Cima etc as an option. All with Auto only and I think mostly for snow regions. AFAIK there were no AWD VR30DDTT sold in Australia - it is on my to do list to check regs for racing a LHD car in Targa/ATR/AASA/CAMS events because if I can get the auto to work it would be interesting to run a 4wd car The Ecuteck TCM tuning is the same model as their ECU tuning, they already have it for R35 and Dose's favourite, BMW. You buy "points" to allow your computer to be tuned, buy either a bluetooth (phone app) or bluetooth+USB+Key (phone and PC) dongle, and pay for a tune that will be locked to your tuner ( ). You can also access the tuning software yourself but 1. it is mega expensive and 2. these computers have a billion parameters that intersect, so how could you ever spend enough time on it to get a decent result.
    • Or, is it a case of what it is like owning an R series Skyline? NFI what the previous owner has done or fiddled with... Ha ha ha After reading through this thread, I went on a bit of a research about the Q50/Q60. Now I'm quite intrigued by them! Is the AWD in them more like a WRX where it's always AWD, or is it more like the ATTESSA in the GTRs? By the sound of this TCU tuning, this sounds like a case of someone has made some real software for it, and you just need the right piece of hardware, and then you license that specific vehicle/TCU. Or is this a case of the software will be really expensive so only a few tuners have it, and you still have to pay a license per vehicle?
    • By popular demand.. it was a coil. Got my hands on 1 new OEM coil, replaced with the one that made the less noise difference when I unplugged it while the car was running and started the car up. No stutter and the engine light was gone. I guess I’ll buy the other 5 they have lol
    • No, code 21 is very straightforward. It can only be the things described in that diagnostic flow. In fact it has no way of knowing that the spark plug resistance is out of spec.
