Its a darker grey circle if there are no new posts, otherwise its white (ish)

Yeah I can tell the difference between no new posts and new posts.

Just with the new skin, you can't tell which threads you've posted in.

The other skin had a circle if you hadn't posted in, and a star if you have.

Now its a circle regardless of whether you've posted in it or not.

Oh I see, sorry I misunderstood.

I'll see what I can do.

It's the same thing I was telling you about a while back:)

And we established it does work.

The circle changes...

If you've posted in a thread, and there are unread replies - circle is "lit up"

If you've not posted in a thread, and thee are unread replies - circle simply appears and is not "lit up"

It takes a little bit of use before you realise. I can now see it easily even via my phone :)

I now see what you're saying.

Its farking hard to discern though.

Like barely any difference.

Only just noticed this. Google and Bing come up in the Members list. Not concerned just thought it unusual - meh

I suppose this is so when people do searches with these engines the content of SAU is displayed also.

ah ok.

i'm using ie.

what's happening with me is after erd posts in a thread anywhere you click on the screen erd's website pops up and the page buttons on the bottom of the page don't work (links to erd's website).

^^ I get the same exact issue with the ERD link using internet explorer. Its a hit and miss though sometimes it happens other times it doesnt =/

Ps: Whens the avatar issue going to be fixed it sucks being a white outline in a black background lol :(

This ERD link thing can be quite frustrating as you can't use full editor options to reply to the thread.

Pictures won't open unless you right click on them and open in new window and if you set popups to be blocked, there is even less chance of replying.

Having a strange Issue today

The main forum page does not show up at all, address is right and everything, the portal works, and all the sub-sections work just not the main forum page. It just comes up with a blank white screen

But if I log off it works fine, so its only when I am logged on in this account :S

Pretty sure I can still post and everything fine, so its just the main forum page.

Even the source of the blank page is empty, we appear to be getting a valid connection but zero content on the main SAU forums page :(

    • Welcome to Skyline ownership. Yes, it is entirely possible parts websites get things wrong. There's a whole world of inaccuracies out there when it comes to R34 stuff (and probably 33 and 32). Lots of things that are 'just bolt on, entirely interchangable' aren't. Even between S1 and S2 R34's. Yes they have a GTT item supposedly being 296mm. This is incorrect. I would call whoever you got them from and return them and let them know the GTT actually uses 310mm rotors. Depending on where you got them from your experience and success will obviously vary.
    • Hi...a bit a "development" on the brakes. I spoke to the guys where i get brakes from...and they are saying that 296mm EBC are for R34 GT-T. I then went to their site: https://www.ebcbrakes.com/vehicle/uk-row/NISSAN/Skyline (R34)/ and search for my car(R34 GT 1998 - it has GTT brakes) and it show me this USR1229 number and they are rly 296mm rotors... So now iam rly confused... The rotors i have now on the car are 310mm asi shown... So where is the problem? Does the whole EBC got it wrong or my calipers are just...idk know what?
    • Oh What the hell, I used to get a "are you sure you want to reply, this thread is XX months old" message. Maybe a software update remove that. My bad.
    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
    • @GTSBoy yeah sorry i know thery are known for colors bud those DBA are too in colors 🙂 Green will be good enough for me
