Hehe that looks funny.

How do you set the pressure? Screw adjustment or different springs?

You adjust the top part of the valve to set pressure and use the locking ring below to lock it in.

Saw JP posted up his laps. Great top speed.

Corner speed is work in progress, good to have excellent weather like that to continue with the steady improvements. Obviously the biggest issue is having the Bs but starting to hit the point where the back is loose on entry, so just a case of stringing it all together. Least it gives me something to think about while at work. Oh and yes, I need to install a seat, I get a bit of back strain from bracing myself due to lack of support. But then I’ll get it from sitting in a seat without cushioning driving to and from events.

john, if we're in different groups at the next day you're welcome to give my seat a shot, it takes 5 minutes to swap it out...

anyone know where the best/cheapest place to buy s13/14 splitfire coil packs online is?

260rwkw, 255 r17 AD08.

Mine here.

Hey guys, what is the software you are using for the data overlay? That's excellent...

Greg, thanks for seat offer, actually have one, its just on the list to fit, so are spitfires, just a bit further down :).

Sam, Dashware costs $50 or so but you don't need aditional video editing software. I use racechrono2avi but for some reason my output video always runs 0.x seconds longer than the lap so if you string laps together it quickly gets out by seconds.

Richo, if you don't mind could I borrow your 2avi dash layout (sub files) to check vs mine?

Its cheaper to buy an RB20 and install it!

Otherwise years ago this mob were about the cheapest for things http://www.rmsmotorparts.com.au/HomeFrameset.htm May be easier to buy out of Japan yourself

I find dashware works better than race2avi. The fastest lap in race2avi always bugs if you are trying to string laps together.

I'll forward through the conf files.

What I don't like about dashware is the video codec they use.

Import Monster as well.

Thanks guys, I had a look at the dashware website and they'll support the data from my Race Technology DL1... i might have to make a purchase :)

Hey ive got heaps of photos whats the best way to post them up? Using photo bucket takes to long for me. Anything quicker that I can just post the link up to?

PM sent

Pretty serious stuff. It does a couple of things 1) not been on brakes for a while, checks they're working prior to entering big brake zone 2) gets pads next to the rotors for instant application.

good to get into the habit early, becomes second nature in no time. especially if your brakes only have about 2 1/2 good laps in them! A left foot dab is also good to tuck the nose in mid corner if your running a bit wide.

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
