I hope all the butchering they had to do to the engine to make it 'similar' to the current dinosaur pushrod engines doesn't handicap it too much.

nissans pretty cluey, i think this car will make a nice daybut. its deffinately going to be a half decent race with nissan and merc taking part and about time the commonwhores and falc*nts got a run for thier money. Like the bloke said the Altima race car isnt far off the street edition where as the holden and fords have been chopped and changed so much they are hardly even resemble thier street versions.

You mean the body panels, right?

Because they've got a control chassis, control suspension, control brakes, aero equivalency, engine equivalency...

Oh, and if they made a RWD V8 Altima, I'm pretty sure there would be bogans galore in the local Nissan dealership straight away. Shit, even I'd be in there for a look.

Love the fact that the Altima will be in the Supercars. Can just imagine people getting hyped and going down to the dealership only to find that the only version of the Altima is a FWD 4 pot.

If only Nissan had an option of a RWD V8 sedan in their world wide lineup to choose from... oh, you mean they do under the guise of the Infiniti M56 in the US?

Or 3.5 V6.... :whistling:

That was my first thought when I saw it too Aaron. So beautiful.

Also love the CF runners

Looks smick! I can't wait to see the whole thing together. Half of my work is killing to see how the erabus eclass will turn out

Well if your talking the current range of falcomms, then yes they have control everything like you said but its not they same as what you buy in the falcomm in the dealership. The only thing which are the same are some panels, lights and the ford or holden eblem.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
