Come on INASNT, dotn be weak, you know you want to come!  All that power and never driven in anger!

You can get a drive in Roy's mystery door prize if you come :D

Just came back to mel last night at 11pm.

Alot of snow up in falls creek and 2wd will require chains about 5 km's from the entrance, but if you have good rims and lowered car good luck putting the chains on and taking em off when its dark and not getting the rims scratched. :D

I have been driving up to falls creek every week for the last 3 months for a few days, and its a FARKIN boaring drive on the hume

Ferni - is it just you coming up? I can get a good deal on a 5 person serviced appartment in Wang.

Also - because most of us are out East we are going to meet in Lillidale at 7:30am tomorrow morning. *yawn*

For those that dont have it my number is 0419 375 140. Call me now for a good time.

Ok - accomodation is booked at the Parkview Motor Inn - which is basically right near the main town of Wangaratta.

We have a twin and a tripple booked for Friday night and we move to a 2 bedroom serviced appartment on Sat. Cost is $35 per night for both nights. The exciting news is theres a swimming pool!

Anyways...

Just for reference I'll chuck up a track map for those that havent seen it. Looks like a hella fun track.

I also did some quick research on times to aim for.

Last years MSCA at Winton - the Skylines Class (Class J) was won with a best time of 137.8. No idea what car he was in. For reference one of the guys that I was similar paced to around Sandown earlier this year ran a 1.41.8. The day was won by a 135.4.

Not many cars under 1.45.

Ok got a proposed road plan....

I will be a FTG Maccas at 7:00 if anyone wants to meet there? (Burwood Hwy FTG) Let me know first as I will not go if anyone doesn't need this. Otherwise I suggest BP on the way out of Lillydale at 7:30. (On the Left, before hill out of Lilydale) From there we go Melba Hwy thru Yarra Glen and Yea. At this point we can go left and head for Seymoue and the Hume (Adds 15min to trip)(Will only go this way if we need to pick up troy roy boy or if the roads are icy) or we go right onto the Maroondah Hwy towards Mansfield and hang a left onto the Midland Hwy after Bonnie Doon and that takes us to Benalla.

Any comments / suggestions. Are we all happy with this?

Chris - I can be at macca's at 7:00 I basically have to pass by that way anyways. I'm tired just thinking about being in FG at 7:00am!

We can add a pull out bed for $10. (we are already doing this in one room on the first night) However on the off chance that James comes too we'll need another room - but thats no big deal. They had heaps of rooms available apparently.

I don't have a camera. :D

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
