Oh and for the guy who was swapping in and out of passive mode to kill/troll people...I tried that...as soon as I disabled it I couldn't access weapon wheel for 10 seconds but the guy I was following could shoot me on foot. It must put you out of passive mode for other players straight away, but you have to wait.

Also people with tanks are starting to get really annoying.

was me,

they didnt figure this out when i was doing it, probably becuase they were trying to ignore me i guess

Yeah if they were noobs or stopped looking at radar try probably wouldn't see, but I tried to get the sneak on this guy, within 2 seconds of changing it he'd turned around and popped me with sawed off.

That's why you go in the distance, wait the 10secs after passive mode pull out the rifle and pop to he's head.

Just bought the $19 bluetooth headset from kmart. Looks pretty neat, hope it's good.

Doesn't work that well if he's got an awareness for you. Soon as that white full circle shows on his radar he has 10 seconds to eliminate you. Really gotta get lucky with it and hope someone is stupid cause it backfires easily.

I've got this PS3 headset (it's SOny OEM) and it works a treat! Battery life is not that great but it'll do about 6 hours. The best thing is it's 7.1 full surround...

Oh and i'm in for 8pm Thursday on PSN :)

And my garage....

Thursday at 8 I thought was the plan?

Private SAU session. Winning.

Not sure what to do with those of us who dont have Mic's. Might see If I can get my bluetooth keyboard to work with the PS3 again

im down for this....i got no immediate plans tonight

So, currently I'm OK with being on at 8 tonight, It's easy to set-up a crew only session, the only issue is that the host needs relatively decent interweb speeds. Since its crew only, the crew heirache determine what you can and cant do, so its not an issue if a higher rank isn't host.

In single player, go to On-line in the pause menu, then "Play GTA Online" and select "Closed Crew Session", so only members of your crew can join. If there are crew members already online then send out a crew invite. If you login after its made and dont get auto joined, use the join other crew members function.

I'm happy to host if its not set-up by the time i login should be home 6ish online by about 7 maybe. I think my PSN is ianjb - if not, it will be pyroib

    • Thanks mate, couldn't find in VIC, ended up ordering one from NSW, getting rwc to get new plates and registration done.
    • Before all the EFR fan boys come in, have a look at: https://www.garrettmotion.com/racing-and-performance/performance-catalog/turbo/g-series-ii-g30-825-58mm/ It also comes in a T4 1.06 divided housing. I would dare say if you want response & also decent power, this thing would chop.   AND apologies, just re-read your post, you've already bought the turbo... whatever you do, make sure you stick with divided housing and proper twin scroll manifold.
    • People have got to stop doing that. ShatGPT is not a search engine. It is a hallucination factory.   I also would recommend the 1.05. The .83 will "work" for you , in that it will be more responsive, but I think you'll find that it won't be anywhere near as good running it out to 8000rpm as the big housing will be.
    • Decided for the first time ever I would tow my car TO the track day on the same working theory as bringing tools and spares "if I have it I wont need it, but if I leave it behind i will 100% need it" all setup and ready to go out and try these A050 for the first time First session showed I needed to stiffen up the dampers a touch but still managed a few 1:21's without much effort. things were looking good. Came in a dropped the tyres down  to 26/28 as they had gotten to 35/33C from 22C cold The first lap of session two I managed to drop into 1:20's. Then in the second lap into the second session. Coming into T3 and I suddenly lost brake pedal followed by some huge rear end vibrations and scraping sounds. Got it back into the pits after session ended and found this. in the attached video, all of the wobble is in the hub its self, wheel is mint, and bearing feels tight. lKXLqpd - Imgur.mp4   Deciding it was a bent spindle I tried to find bearing/hub assembly locally but was unsuccessful so it was loaded back onto the trailer i luckily brought it on to drag it back home
