Certified 100mm car show is fast approaching and as we had such a positive response last year, SAU-VIC will be setting up a stand again.

When? Saturday 22nd February

Time? 10am to 5pm

Located at New Quay Promenade & Harbour Town, Piazza, Docklands Victoria

We are looking for a few members to represent the club on the day, parking in a group together and promoting the club.

To enter go here and fill out the application form, along with 4 recent photos of your vehicle -

http://www.100mm.com.au/

Once you have been accepted as an entrant please email your proof of acceptance and proof of payment of entry with your current member number to [email protected], and if you are one of the lucky ones, SAU-VIC will reimburse you for part of your entry cost, provided you are a current SAU-VIC member and agree to park at the show all day with the club.

From all reports last year was a fantastic show, and this year is set to be even bigger and better. The best bit is, this show is only a week after the SAU-VIC annual show and shine, so your cars will already be nice and shiny, ready to represent the club! :woot:

Hmm I was interested in going but then saw it costs $70 just to enter your car :\

I wonder what amount of costs they incurr to run the event.

On the website it says 250+cars

So lets say 250 cars that would be $17,500 revenue

Not worth entering unless car is pretty special (no offence viper). Even the mildly or even tastefully done cars get ignored/smothered by other stuff.

Money for venue + DJs + event coverage? + security? + facebook sponsor + spambot on every car forum + people to design poster + promo video + pay immaculate conception to bring nice cars to steal attention = $15,000 profit

Has anyone from SAU entered this year?? Given it's next weekend I'd like to know if I need to organize a stand ;)

I just renewed my membership at SnS and just entered 100mm :)

Do we have a stand there?

    • To be fair this is the wife’s car. However, I have been accused of owning more cars than I have pairs of undies. Luckily I change my undies more frequently than the cars.
    • Cheers Lads Looking at changing up a few things maybe go 2.8lt, bigger injectors with more a modern Turbo. Possibly transbrake and convert to E85 with Haltech ECU. Any thoughts on those Mods changes or better ideas? Want to try keep the car Street/Strip While also being weekend drivable still.
