Rears are almost done. I gotta hand it to my panel beater he has done an awesome job!! Exactly what I wanted actually it's even better than I expected. I would highly recommend them to anyone needed body work. Offtap customs in dandy. Can't wait till its fully painted and then the will be off to topstage composites where I will be getting the V3 rear wing and V3 front lip. Front and rear diffusers will be coming soon.

Update on what will be happening in the coming weeks. Car is booked in at topstage composites next week to get V3 rear wing and front lip. Still searching for a r33 front bar to fit the lip to atm. Then car will be off to havoc fabrication again to get some door cards made up and a few other little jobs done as well. My aim atm is to have the car ready for January 30th sandown event.

Awesome.

Very tidy result, a credit to you and the guys doing the work.

Time to get this thing prepped for track

Thanks dale. I'm defiantly happy with how all the body has turned out. I can't wait to see what it looks like after topstage Compisites finishes with it.

Car looks excellent mate.

Geez I hope you have that front bar mounted solidly, that's one big bitch front splitter thats going to make mince meat of factory mounts.

Is the bar factory or fibreglass?.

Love ya work

Cheers

Neil.

Thanks Neil. It is a factory GTR bar mounted with the GTR reo bar as well. As for mounts Freddy is going to make me up some mounts to hold the splitter when I take it back there to get the front diffuser installed.

Wow. Awesome stuff, consistent with the quality of workmanship to date. Well done.

Just don't run off - that thing is just made for plowing.

Cheers mate. The whole car has to be raised around 45mm to allow for all this extra downforce. Otherwise I will end up dragging my nice new front splitter along the ground.

    • Yes, overthinking. Many PS reserviors are completely opaque. Our Skyline ones, for example. Have to remove lid, peak inside, swirl the dipstick, try to remember how to read it, etc etc. Normal. Radiator overflows are often sufficiently opaque and scunged up that you can't see the true level inside anyway, and have to open and have a peak. Besides which, I replaced the (massively expensive, even back then) plastic overflow in my Alfa GTV, back in the '90s with a stainless one that I had a good fabricator make up to be dimensionally same-same, that looks remarkably similar to the Bogan's Moroso one above, and I never suffered any particular paranoia that I didn't know how much coolant was in it.
    • Looks great, but I'm always concerned that it makes it difficult to see what level the fluids are at. Am I overthinking this?
    • Looks fancy But after having a look, prior to its installation, I noticed that the yellow looking power steering reservoir would look crap next to this So I have this incoming..... Much cheaper than the Moroso and has great reviews (yeap, it's a Moroso knock off)
    • Can we place bets? My money is on there is always the option to use the 1 way profile. So the diff is either 2 way and 1 way, or 1.5 way or 1 way.
    • I also used Knox driveshafts when I the slip yoke T56 to the 3bolted TR6060 type. I believe I was one of his first jobs as it literally changed hands when I was there, started by the old owner and finished by the new. Everyone seemed pretty great about it. So wasn't shy/seemed pretty knowledgeable when dealing with weird custom people like me.
