Why do you want to use genuine pads and disc? Just wondering

But also this.

Surely Project Mu or someone similar does a good set up for cheaper.

They want $1900 for disc and $600 pad? What do you think about the price ? If it's cheap then yea I'll get them to do it.

Wouldn't have a clue for a 35.

Someone as experienced as Galvsport with 35s I probably wouldn't even question TBH, I'd take their opinion and run with it.

Let me ask around with Nissan's
Thanks Hank and I'll be there at Galvsport by 3 to pick up the car :(
I'd try amayama, might be cheaper. Not very sure with gtr 35 parts in Australia but I'd imagine it's stupid expensive. Aftermarket probably be pretty good and price wise as well no?

Cheers Colin I'll do that too :(
I've been doing a lot of reading, and I've spoken to a couple mechanics and I don't think my tyres are a problem, I still want to change them due to age.

A lot of people, and my own research are telling me my HICAS might be playing up. I'm still researching HICAS, but it does make sense, if I were turning and my HICAS isn't aligned properly, it could have caused my rear to swing out...

Given this car has had multiple suspension changes and who knows what past, That could be right but i'm no expert.

I was just onFacebook and someone ask where in perth is the best place to get hicas looked at the response was get a delete kit or get Mark from C-red to look at it hope this helps or did you something already?

    • So either way it is gearbox out and look what is wrong?  I know about the input shaft bearing. Even before swap/new clutch the it sounded exactly like this: So is that inout shaft bearing or the other was installed backwards?  And can some please tell me the part number for that input shaft bearing? The gearbox is small box from R34 N/A and number is FS5W71C. Thank you
    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
