My cousin was just at a sales meeting in vegas last couple of weeks for blue coat.

He gets home, gets a call from the CEO and told that Symantec is taking over, pretty much everything they were told at sales meetings is a waste now.

lawd his snapchats were epic though.

is disappoint with ppls ideas on security.

is AV that hard?

BTW we blew a couple Bills buying some more security...

I needed to install another version of Symantec AV to work with Windows10 however before that I needed to uninstall previous version.

It had corrupted itself mid-uninstall & I cant remove it now. It's also lost half its features during mid-uninstall. FTL

sounds like you got one of the more stable versions...

some of them had a real problem with crashing.

So it's time for me grow up and stop investing into car parts temporarily and buy one of those shiny expensive carrots.

Anyone can recommend a jeweller that doesn't markup 150%?

I remember ages ago you guys mentioning a few places but that was yonks ago.
Plus am going overseas in a few weeks so am getting that tourist refund scheme handy.

so per person has to be more than 300$ on an single invoice or under 1000,

if's over they process it and put a note and if you bring it back you have to pay max excess duty, it's a real pain (if they even go though process at all usually they just say no)

If your leaving permanently then it all ok

I claimed a TRS refund for some goods that I now want to bring back into Australia. What do I need to know?

If you are aged 18 years or over, you can bring in up to A$900 worth of general goods into Australia duty-free, or A$450 if you are younger than 18. Families travelling together can pool this allowance (so a couple with a child can bring in a total of A$900 + $900 + A$450 = A$2250 worth of general goods into Australia without paying duty or tax). This is called your Passenger Concession.

General goods include gifts, souvenirs, cameras, electronic equipment, leather goods, perfume concentrates, jewellery, watches and sporting equipment.

If the total value of the goods you are bringing in is greater than your Passenger Concession, including goods for which you have previously claimed a tax refund under TRS:

  • you must declare all of these goods
  • for goods where you have previously claimed a tax refund under TRS, you will need to pay that refund back
  • duty and tax will apply to all items of this type, not just goods over the limit of your passenger concession.

Penalties may apply if you don’t declare that you have goods in excess of your concession.

Numberplate 21 is up for auction at Shannon's

Listed between 500-550k

Numberplates be a good investment; cannot see these falling in value or staying the same for as long as the current plating system is in place and there is an influx of wealthy candidates looking for their next status symbol

    • I've replaced the front brakes of my NA to 324 brembos and 350z calipers: i'm going for 225/40-18 up front and 245/35-18 in the back. I have Rays 7.5*19 ET35(225/35) in the front with 5mm spacers otherwise the calipers "lock up/ won't rotate". When i use the calculator i come up with 8*18 ET30 for 225/40...... but not sure i get problems with the calipers. Anyone riding around with 18 inch. that can confirm "that it'll fit"? In the back it's 7.5*9 ET30 (245/30) with the 5mm spacers, but there is no problem with the standard small brakes, so i want to take 8.5*18 ET25 (245/35).
    • Lol.. but then.. always come back to a JDM..
    • Glad to hear. If possible, get your tuner to check air's to make sure everything is still where it should be.
    • The problem with FB/Insta/Reddit etc comments relating to cars is simple. You get to ask a question once, and get one round of replies. For things that can actually be answered in a few lines of text, once, it's fine. After 6 hours, your original question is lost to the void. There are no follow ups, additional questions, anything. No project car is ever such a simple list of questions to ask. You need discussion.
    • Welcome.  Here's what I have noticed about forum vs FB..... FB; seems to be wallet racing, and the same few questions asked over and over. There *may* be some groups that are closer knit, but most have changed for the worse. SAU; unfortunately, no longer in its glory days. But....genuine people with similar interests. Not all about how much you spent and saying you dont have enough power. Sooooooo much knowledge available. Have personally seen people post up about literally topics I made myself, asking on FB like no one has done it before. Most has been done, and most of that is here.   If you ever feel like just general chatting theres the wasteland.  Other interests are also generally covered in other areas of the forum. Hope you enjoy hanging around. We would love to have you.   P.s. nice 32 😀
