How often do you use public transport Martin??

Being permanent designated driver isn't so bad after you haven't used public transport in forever, then use it one night and think "fuq dis shit"

I'll just enjoy my 50%+ larger battery than the iphone 7 thanks :) and pop it on wireless charge during the night, no cables for me.

How are them apple adapters going? Can you plug your headphones in yet? :P

bose qc35 bluetooth noise cancelling, who needs adapters

I use PT to get to the office since we moved to st kilda road.  loath it with a passion but easiest way to get to work.

that said it's only a couple times a month, which means I really cannot be bothered carrying a myki

Fair enough. I have forgotten my myki a few times since it doesnt live in my wallet.

I was more referring to PT outside of business hours.

I caught a whiff of the uranium hype train today. Maybe something worth looking into once im done with 88E

I have no doubt it'll go downhill in a few months time, but my 7 is lasting me all day and night with 20% left by the time I plug it in for overnight charge. I use it a lot!

easy fix when you have $450 headphones I guess :P makes complete sense for you though with the travel

yeah my sennheiser PXC450's died after 6 years of getting bashed around.

decided to treat myself with these.

Picked up my 7 plus on Sunday gave it a full charge and it's still going, trying to do a full drain on it for the battery.

Nice try... I have a 6

It's ridiculously irrational that the short term price in a long term strategy based oil explorer should move in such a knee jerk way, after the announcement of a short term cut to the supply of oil

And lol @ Saudis finally realising that fireselling your biggest / only real export is not a sound economic plan

So OPEC making a deal. Shares go green in just about every sector.
Should be a positive 2 weeks with 88E coming. Jump in again birds. Wont be 0.04 tomorrow thats for sure

Feeling like I missed it. I have a thing about sucking it up and buying in for higher than you last sold for. The irony is, after yesterday's touch on 3.6 I was going to buy back in at a hopeful 3.6 today...didn't see OPEC news coming. It feels very knee jerk to me and I don't think it's significant enough to continue with momentum beyond today, or carry us into the low 4s. Guess we'll see. At least from the sidelines I'm not losing money, only potential profit.

But yeah...gamblers regret...for me to regret not staying in and selling now or not buying in earlier is (all things equal) a bit like seeing a streak of reds at a roulette table and thinking you should have followed it.

Had another customer today hit with ransomware, don't forget to back yo' shiz up peoples (photos at the minimum), even at home all it takes is one email to get through :)

Was it the fake AGL bill one?

Ransomware? Is that like they steal your files and sell them back to you?

Share prices were going to move regardless of OPEC outcome. This was pretty positive so its all-in for a day or two. And sif be surprised about the knee-jerk, just look at what happened with trump win, price crashed and then spiked. OPEC is a big hurdle so something like this is a big deal for short term oil price. And with land lease next to 88E going next week, plus reveal of remaining seismic results within that same week... Things will move this month

I bought a few more at 3.7c to lower my average price a bit. Not in the green yet, but its not far away (for me).

they encrypt your files and you have to pay to get the key to decrypt it...

I have always wondered if there is honour amongst thieves here... I.e. If you pay the money do they actually decrypt your shit?

I'm not surprised by the knee jerk, I just don't think it's sound investment to try and ride it for short term profit (talking a few days). It's backed up by no long term prospect or news specifically from 88E to give the SP a new floor. Next week could change that, yes. The SP did similar little hops when the price of oil saw some recovery months ago. Don't get me wrong, the OPEC announcement is good for the company, increased value of assets etc, but I think today is people jumping on 88E with the expectancy that it will see a few days of rises out of it.

To me, today is one of those things you needed to be lucky enough to be in with prior to the rise. I don't feel that it has legs to carry it. Hopefully I'm right and I can buy back in like I wanted to. There will be a time when my short term profiteering needs to end and make way for my long term strategy, and it's fast approaching as we edge closer to IW2. IW2 is the red/black you're either all in or all out for.

    • You just need to remove the compressor housing, not the entire turbo. I would not be drilling and tapping anything with the housing still on anyways.
    • So, I put my boat on a boat. First of all, I'm going to come out and say it. Why is Tasmania not considered a holy goal, an apex that all road-legal modified cars go to, to experience? This place is an absolute wonderland of titanic proportions. If people are already getting club runs for once in a lifetime 30 person cruises to Tassy then I've never seemed to see it. It is like someone replaced the entire place with an idyllic wonderland for cars, and all of the people living there with paid actors who are kind, humble, and friendly. Dear god. After doing a lap of almost all of the place I've found that it's a great way to find out all of the little things that the car isn't doing quite right and a great way to figure it all out. All in all, I drove for 4 hours a day for a week and nothing broke. I didn't even need to open the engine bay. This is by all means a great success, but it has left me with a list of things to potentially address. I also now have a 3D printed wheel fitment tool which annoyingly hasn't got any threads in it to actually assemble it. I might be able to tape it together to check the sizing I actually want to use, but it'll likely involving pulling the shocks out to properly measure travel at least at the front, and probably raise the car while I'm at it, at least in the rear. I scraped on quite a few things and I'm not sure how else to go about it. I was taking anything with a bump at what felt like 89 degree angles. And address those 10 other tasks. And wash the car. God damn it is dirty. And somehow, the weather was perfect the entire time - And because I was on the top of Mt Wellington it turns out it was very much about to freeze up there. I did something I typically never do and took some photos up there in what must have been -10 and the foggy felt like suspended ice, rather than mere fog. If you own a car in Australia, you owe it to yourself to do it.

    • Hi, I have a r32 gtr transmission. Does any of you guys have an idea how much power it will hold with the billet center plate and stock gearset? At what power level and use did yours brake with or without billet plate? Thanks, Oystein Lovik
    • Saw this replica police car based on a Mitsubishi Starion XX parked next to a 'police box' (it's literally a box) in Hirohata, Himeji City in Hyogo prefecture the other day. It's owned by Morii-san who is a local Mitsubishi Starion enthusiast. According to a local radio station blog post, he always wanted to make a police car himself based on ones he saw in his favourite Manga comics.  As it's illegal to modify a car to look like a police car and drive on the road, Morii-san tried many times to get permission from Aboshi police station headquarters nearby. They refused initially by after they got tired of that they granted him permission. However, the car can only be displayed on private property and obviously can't be registered as long as the police livery is present. The car was completed at a cost of 1.5 million yen (US$ 10,000) in addition to the car cost. A location was chosen outside Hirohata Police box where the car can easily been seen from the street. Morii-san has two other Starion road cars, both widebody GSR-VRs.
