Since this car isn't going racing anytime soon, I'd keep the same original tyres as well.
Tis a coincidence that here we are in the 49th week of 2016, exactly 12 years after these OEM tyres were made!

damn, R34's dont get any better than that

but those tyres... i had a set of 14 year old tyres that looked brand new due to lack of use, but were downright dangerous in some situations, not to mention hard and noisy

Is that a CF cover on the strut tower, or was it replaced with a CF panel? Either way, insane!

Its a CF panel.

Same treatment is done underneath and in the boot as well.
