Help with my R33 GTR wheels and spacers

Hi everyone, I need your help on getting spacers for my GTR. I thinking of adding 10mm or 15mm but am finding it hard getting the right spacers as the centre bore is the exact size as my current wheels so how do I get spacers that will fit my wheels on top?

As you can see from the attached photos, I bought a set of 10mm spacers and the centre bore won't fit through my wheels. I've never looked into spacers before so am needing some help.

Specs of 10mm spacers that didn't fit were:

PCD: 5/114.3 with 66.1mm center bore and 73.1 OD

What specs would I need for them to fit? I only need 10mm or 15mm.

I think the problem you had was the OD was 73.1mm it needs to also be 66.1mm. 

And it looks like those spacer are slip-on ones not hub centric? Also be careful as you may ruin your AWD system with different wheel diameters but I've never fitted spacers to my car before so others can confirm

Why do you need spacers?

You are right on this...Rays produce wheels in both specs. I think the OP mentioned that spacers with the OD of 66.1mm was the same as his wheels which didn't allow fitment so not sure either.

I was thinking the same too.

A friend ran into issues as he didn’t have enough stud thread left and his wheels were barely hanging on.

Looks is one thing but safety is paramount.

Looks like you have 19x10 +22 wheels, they should fit without issue.

If you're after more "stance" I suggest selling the wheels and getting ones with +12 offset.

You can get spacers, but then you need to buy longer wheel studs, and also you car isn't roadworthy.

Hey mate, although getting wheels with better offset is probably the way to go I can appreciate forking out extra cash isn't always an option for most.

If you must use a spacer (can be safe if only done right) then use a hub-centric one (sits flush onto the wheel's hub). The ones you have although would have been hub-centric are split-on ones with no extended studs you would would have had to get longer studs for them to work with your current wheel.

Alternatively and is the better option, get hub-centric one with their own extended wheel studs so they would sit on your current studs then have their own protruding studs whereby your wheel would sit on. Make sure the PCD and and centre bore diameters are correct for your car and be mindful of some rubbing when turning or cornering. For the rear of a GTR and based on your wheels offset, I reckon 15mm is max do not go any further.

Thank you for everyone's replies. It is much appreciated. 

I got my rear guards flared so it is a little wider than stock which has add about 10mms from memory hence despite the wheels having good offset I don't know if it's sitting out enough yet. 

I'm chasing the R33 400R look so as you can see from the photos, it sits just out be still a little tucked under the guards just like how the 400R looked so many people say my wheels look nice and flush as is no need for spacers or do I still nee them?

The problem is I only have around 8-10mm clearance left on the guards so any further spacing and it will probably rub.

I think your wheels are nice as is no need for spacers which would defect your GTR and cause issues. Your wheels are sticking out a lot already and the rear looks very similar to the 400R’s.

Those 400R wheels are 18x10 +20, with those wheel arch lip things.

You don't need spacers. If you want a more flush look, run 285 wide tyres and wind out the upper arms for less negative camber.

Or, sell your wheels and get 10.5 +12 ones. Messing around with spacers is frowned upon. But hey, you car, your money, you do what you want.

Thanks everyone! I think I'll just leave them as is and run wider tires next time when they need changing.

      So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel

      When you pulled it off, there is no signs of blown head gasket? Is it possible you have some other issues going on? Possible cracked blocked? Or do you think it's straight up lifting the head? Did you check what the head was torqued to before pulling it down (To see if possibly they're stretching, or starting to break threads out etc)?

      Seems like a decent result for a modded JZX110. They are bulky in comparison to the 100 and 90 models (which I'd prefer myself) but they are getting very few and far between here in JP these days. Thanks for the detailed review and the import process into the UK. I also have a car which I'm hoping to export from Japan at some stage so it's good to know if someone from the UK was interested in it. By the way the corrosion underneath is par for the course for cars which were located in/near the mountains or along the Japan sea coastline. They get huge amounts of snow every winter and the sodium chloride is used on the roads. Many cars have some kind of rubber like treatment underneath but they tend to limit it to the wheel arches underbody and fuel tank. Suspension arms and sub-frames will have similar corrosion to your JZX110 which is a common sight. See it all the time and car dealers here generally don't even mention it unless asked.

      If the sound goes away when you clutch in, the 1.5/2 way diffs are just shit, and you are a normal person. The diff is likely "fine" but driving at anything under 30kmh is a violent horrible experience. It would be exaggerated with solid diff bushings and subframe bushings if you have those.
