Hey Brendan.....hope life's been treating you well. Got any projects on the go these days?

Not a lot of any-siders around here any more! We moved so far south west we fell out of Sydney altogether (because sheds)

LOL - good to hear from you guys. It's be a long time !

@Duncan No project on the boil (that's the reason I came back actually) - I"ve been in Adelaide for 4 years now - Once married and with 4 kids now - I've had no time or money for Car projects.

However, I think that is all about to change.

So I came on here looking for a clean 1989, 1990 R32 Gtst. Anyone know anything for sale ?

I wanna get a track car under historic rego.

We are now blessed with The Bend, Mallala and AIR - so time to get back into it.

Cheers boys

Still trying to work out if you are planning to change the married and kids status, or the car projects...

(congrats BTW!)

I don't know a 32 gtst for sale, probably even those are starting to go up instead of down in price these days unless they have been thrashed in between. A wanted to buy thread may still get different sellers to other sites, but the state and social parts of the forum are pretty quiet these days

Dad life mate - I figured it was time to actually log back into the forums :)

Finally a GTR owner again too, so might make a cameo appearance at the putty road cruise.

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
