Tail and dash lights staying on

I have an R23 gtst, my issue is the tail and dash lights stay on all the time unless I pull the "tail light fuse".

I have disconnected the headlight switch ruling that out. 
 

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I CAN TEST?

for the meantime, I am piggy backing ignition power to the top of the tail light fuse which works but my tail lights will just be on whenever the car is on.

Have you tried fixing the ignition barrel that you broke earlier?

It wasn't the barrel it was always the tail lights, I thought it was acc cos the usb charger was staying on but turns out it was the same circuit as the tail lights

Could be easy....is the fog light switch on (and if not, try disconnecting it too), I think the R32 treats them as headlights on

Get a multimeter and start tracing wires. Take all the guess work out of it

What Duncan said. It's on your cluster surround. I've used that button before when my headlight switch was being dodgy.

It was the f**king fog light switch. Like you said. Cheering having this mystery over.

Loads of them, from the late 80's to the early 2000's. Search "Subaru park light switch"
