nice nice rezz! ask for cooler pics and you have one on every angle. :P

like ronin and shan said, i removed that vertical support in order to fit the cooler. i used two horizontal homemade supports as you can see. im guessing that your cooler is fit for the 32gts-t right rezz? coz yours is a really a neat install. was unaware that that na's didn't have it? how does the bonnet shut without it?

thank roy. but its a trial bar, from japan itself. www.trial.co.jp click on products and aero parts. beware the modified version of the s15 trial bar thats been fit to the r32 that everyone's calling the "trial r32 frontbar" here in aus. posers.

technically speaking it is a TRY FORCE Aeropart, they sell through TRIAL.

Aaah *cough* yeah... :P all the parts I buy are "for HCR32"...

Your 'cooler isn't?

  • 2 weeks later...

During the week I recieved a huuuuuuge box from Bomex with an HCR32 front lip spoiler:

A huge box for only this:

I also got a Nismo rear spoiler from East Bear:

Not wanting to fork out for labour, I went onto the roof of my building to spray the front lip spoiler (the Nismo spoiler was painted already by East Bear by request)

Dummy fit:

This thing was top notch quality!!! Hell, it was such a snug fit, I could've driven around without screwing it on properly. Well done Bomex :P

So much downforce on the back, I'll never get the tail out now!

I bought the car with that crease just in front of the left front wheel.

hwo much did the front liip set you back in $AUD? is it legal? what is the legal ride height in japan? is there one at all, considering those crazy p-van things!

also, where can i get that sun deflector from? my mashimaro one is starting to fold...

edit: rezz, give us a straight rear shot. is it the same lip that sometimes goes under the oem gtr spoiler?

Well done mate, looks good :P.

Just spoke to Justin right now and he will indeed need to take care going up/down carpark ramps. I already scrap ramps whens my car was about 14cm from the ground, now 12cm from the ground. There is a legal ride height here in Japan but not greatly enforced.

The Bomex front lip spoiler cost about A$190 (13,000 yen) from Bomex Japan.

The sun shade cost 200 yen (A$2.50) from SuperAutobacs in Itami... incidently the place where Ikeri works :(

Btw, coco69, I'll post up a rear shot tomorrow. The front lip is a dedicated HCR32 "aero bumper" spoiler, it doesn't fit R32 GT-Rs.

rezzeh, did you use nissan 738 paint or didja use bumper paint (the one that gives it a nice bumper like texture?) lookin good... now get yourself some sidey's n rear aero.

ride height over here is 10cm i believe but unlike australia here they measure it from the actual car body not the bodykit. u can have the plastic kit scraping the ground just as long as the metal frame/body whatever is 10cm high....i think..

I talked to Justin last night or rather was over his place to check the fine work he had done preparing and installing the bar.

It looks great as it is, who needs sideskirts and a rear bar...go the JGTC look ;)

As the car is to become a dedicated track car not some show pony :P

Thanks Rezz for that, you've given me an idea. Perhaps I could paint the lower part of my front spoiler black.

    • I have more than enough digging, laying blocks, moving gravel, airrating, feeding and top soiling the grass, and setting up the veggie gardens growing some seedlings,  and then removing all the unused rock to keep me busy for the next few months at least,  hopefully the rain stops soon so I can get a few hours in this arvo, but, before that Sunday is washing day, is every body happy, you bet your life we are Nice country road day drives are a day off whenever I'm muscle sore from all the landscaping at the moment, but, more epic multiple day drives will start once the majority of the big jobs outside are completed
    • I hear that would involve some nice country road drives into the hills for Mark...
    • I thought I'd come back and add something I JUST learned. A Toyota LandCruiser with a 1HZ, mates perfectly with a bottle of Nulon brake fluid. As in, it perfectly screws in. Great make shift funnel when you cut the bottom of it off. This may work for your Corolla.   Unfortunately, tipping a 10L drum is much harder than a 4 to 6L bottle, and they no longer include the easy pour tap which was just perfection to use previously.
    • Guys since i bought r33 gts25t coupe 1994 automatic a/t(manual swap 350z gearbox)  all i got is problems, always problems. Lets start with that when i turn key into ignition(ON) fuel pump doesnt always works. Sometimes i have to turn key twice Off/on/off/on until it primes. Its new, dw300 - 340lph. My gearbox broke so i did gearbox swap, install different intake manifold, injectors and i take pipes. Car was sitting in garage for more than half a year. I did assembly all not that long ago and when i turn ignition cant hear prime. All of sudden it stopped working. Theres many videos on YouTube how to make relay mod on r33 straight from battery so i did and it doesnt work! 😰 30 - battery positive  87 - positive from fuel pump to relay 85, 86 - one of two wires from original fuel pump wires(light blue, grey) and it didn’t work. so I check on ignition and took original BLUE relays wires from trunk, next to fuses. (I believe it’s IGN+ and ECU pin 18. it didn’t work…  tried connecting (IGN+ from og relay) and (ECU 104 from 1of4 FPCM wires) to my new relay 85/86 and it didn’t work.  I unplug FPCM. Didn’t work. im thinking what’s wrong   fuel pump is working, if I leave IGN+ on 85 and 86 straight to ground it works but it’s just nonstop. Since it getting constant 12v after key in ON. light blue wire gives me 6-8v.  so how this should be connected? What causing ECU not giving — on pin? Or I did sth wrong and that’s why it doesn’t work? I need negative signal on ECU that control fuel pump. What this should be?
    • You can use your VIN to look up the factory part number somewhere like amayama, and then look to order new if necessary. https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/nissan Depending on price you might want to rebuild instead. @GTSBoy I had an interesting insight into US market parts when the Titan rear calipers were sticking. New calipers were dirt cheap, about 20% more than a rebuild kit....they are just considered throw away maintenance items
