you changing the rotors too.?

Nah, apparently I don't need to. Unless you mean upgrading to cut ones, which I think I'll just use the stockies. Funds are on a budget whilst Rosie is getting paid off :P

Upgrade rotors to DBA slotted items when your stockies are dead. Only real advantage will be heat dissipation with the slotted rotors, so unless you're driving like a fkn lunatic on the streets or tracking the car you won't really get anything out of them other than them looking cool :P

Rosie is going to the track in September so slotted might be nice :3 if it's like $100 extra or whatnot I don't see an issue D: However, budget is a keyword for me :( So stockies it seems haha

As Anthony said, you'll barely notice a difference until you've got a few track days under your belt and you're pushing limits :P

^^ This. Driver skill will make the biggest increase to start with. N/A cars can still get decent times with the right driver behind them. When you go out the first time worry about getting line and length right, and then slowly decrease your brake distance into each corner keeping line and Length right. you will see your times massively improve. Don't worry about speed, timing is where it's at and speed will follow suit.

I'm sure I will get the nickname Putty on the day as I'll probably be putting around the track learning this and that. I've done some V8 track days (go in the V8 "supercar" around the track). So I know a tiny bit about track. Still a novice though :P I'll smack out some Forza 4 the night before and get tuned in :P

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
