  1. Give him 6 months to choose one. Don't rush him!
  2. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=CRC+De-squeak
  3. Yep You can get all crc stuff here
  4. It's extremely likely your stock bov is leaking due to the way it's hose is blocked. It needs the boost pressure in the top of the diaphragm to hold it shut when on boost . The spring on its own isn't strong enough to hold it shut against the boost pressure. Connecting direct to the battery is fine. But you might as well do what I said with the pump to check the whole ebc at the same time.
  5. Get rid rid of that bov. Yes the solenoid makes a clicking sound when trying to control boost . Which it only does when out of vacuum so it's not clicking all the time. You can apply pressure via a bike pump to ebc pressure source to see if it does anything.
  6. It's not dual vct. Still only on intake There some slight wiring differences but no worries. Will result in a big compression increase due to the smaller chamber of the neo head. Would be really good on e85 and totally shit on petrol!
  7. What happened to just bolting on a neo manifold entirely? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/421090-what-exactly-are-the-differences-between-r33r34-rb25t-inlet-manifolds/
  8. Ok. I do sort of understand your concerns. I tried to search for cases of overreaching fpr. Nothing. Tried other terms . Nothing. Could you link me to something if possible.
  9. That is pretty late for full boost I would be looking into that.
  10. I would imagine the correct valve springs would make shim spitting far less likely. I haven't come across any threads from guys who have spat shims.
  11. This thread is over thinking to the max! Do you have any examples of the stock regulators not being able to control pressure with bigger pumps?
  12. I like the way you haven't answered how much piston to bore clearance you are running.
  13. If this was real life I would have punched everyone out already....
  14. Thank you sir.
  15. Wot u mean by that mate?
  16. He was correcting typo in his previous post. Silly Internet. Wouldn't have happened face to face.
  17. Exactly Which is why I asked which gauge op is using.
  18. For reference.
  19. Check base timing. Check for vacuum leaks.
  20. What gauge are you using? Looking for leaks is pretty pointless as you won't find them. You have to pressure test to find them. Search pressure test for boost leaks on Google to see how to do it. And put stock bov back on....
  21. Unfortunately you got ripped. You can't use it.
  22. What a shame about the idling. If it was me I would give it a hard thrashing to try and bed the rings in. Back onto mineral oil also.
