Not got the manifold as yet so flange choice is open. T4 split would be nice as it gives the most options but I do release the G30 is v-band only at the moment.

Guess I would be looking at an EFR 8374 to make this sort of power ?

So I have a Nissan Cefiro with an RB26. It is my daily drive and I take the kids in it often. I'd like a turbo setup that gives me 500-600rwhp on e85 but has great response and power in the lower rpm range. At the moment these two turbos look like the best options, i welcome others. My current thoughts are I have used Garrett for 15+ years and they have been nothing but excellent. I have seen a lot of people having issues with precision's but its hard to call as they are often on full race cars that replace pistons as often as they do turbos. The lack of water cooling on the precision worries me too as I will be doing runs to the shops, not sitting idling but shutting off. The precision's seem to consistently out perform the garrets though in both spool and outright power. Garrets GTX range seems barely an upgrade from the GT range. I have seen good results on the G25 -550 but very average ones on the G25-660 and nothing really so far on the G30.

Something is wrong but its not the intercooler. I have a stock r32 rb26 making 245rwkw on e85(12psi). And an rb26 with single turbo making 520rwkw(26psi) with the stock r32 gtr intercooler. I would be doing check for boost leaks, rag in the intercooler piping, timing off , timing belt off and compression on motor. Even on pump fuel 20psi with those turbos should be a lot more. Oh and double check you actually have gt-ss turbo's I'd also consider another tuner, specially if he offered to sell you an intercooler

Yep, pump gas and big intake temps on last run. Overall seems like a disappointing result for 25psi but so used to seeing E85 figures these days you forget how much u98 robs you.

Argggg I could flip the table !! They changed the intercooler at the same time as the rear housing. So mudding the results.

g25 - 660 on dyno. Not sure i buy everything being said here but at least it will be interesting in vid 2 when they swap the rear housings.

Be great to get some more data points from that car. The twin G25-550 intrigues me as well. They do the internal gate T2 .49 which screams bolt me on an RB26. I've be told by a seller its not a bolt on affair though. I was not given any details other than you have a 30 year old car "dude" as to why. The cost of them makes it a serious investment and a risk you end up with a street pig. If not and they make 900-1000fwhp with amazing spool ..... all the glory is yours ......

Yer rb20e is junk. You have possible ecu, cas, temp, injector, maf or coil issue. Need spares to troubleshoot. Go the rb25 and never look back

G35-1050 vs GT35 on spool will be interesting, can it match is and make 200 hp more ?

Please get as much info from dyno as possible. Boost and torque with RPM scale

Not 100% true. S13 are shorter then cefiro. Stock S13 suspension in a cefiro = lowered cefiro. I have had S13 coils in a cefiro that just won't go high enough, so not all will fit. Also base height adjustment is preffered then you wont be putting to much/to little pressure on the spring trying to get the right height.

It's making around 550rwhp on the Hyperdrive dyno (Sugar powah) @ ~21 psi. Has a GT35R turbo with .82 rear sititng on a 6 boober manifold. Gearbox is a rb25 5 cogger still H pattern with OS Giken gearset.

As in it was in a gtr in japan, removed, shipped to aus. By all accounts stock as a stone. Timing belt replaced and sump converted to rwd. Then add turbo + injectors + ecu ... done . Stock GTR cooler still in use. Estimate its done around 100,000k now since nissan screwed it together it back in 1991.

Nope its not in a GTR !! It's also not even a built motor !! An un-opened low k rb26 motor from Japan is now -WA's first 9 Second silvia/s series and Also WA's first 9 second RB26 !

Thats exactly what I am talking about. I have also seen several engines die on twin pump setups. None on a single pump setup. Spend the extra $500 + on a AFR meter or knock meter or fuel pressure gauge. Just make sure they have audible warning. This will also show up any fuel surge. I agree this can be a problem and have nothing against a surge tank with a SINGLE PUMP. As said above try and get one under car. I also have a car with twin pumps and in boot surge setup and its such a pain in the arse compared to my other car. Even with hard lines the way its setup the rubber lines under the car smell through the holes for the hard lines.

One 044 pump will be fine as long as you don't try and run stupid high rail pressure and run a seperate relay to power the pump. I don't actually see how two pumps gives you "safety". If one pump fails and the other isnt enough your still screwed. I see the complications of running two pumps more likely to cause issues. FYI - Running 425 rwkw on e85 with one 044 in tank and run the 141 mph to back it up as well Yer - Thats No surge tanks, no lift pumps, even stock fuel lines and fuel filter. ...

Any one can rock up and race as long as its hi-tech (ie EFI) Yer, rock up at 12 and there is a 2 hour wait until practice. That time will be used to srcutineer your car(basic stuff, seat belt, brakes, tyres, battery holder, overflow). Yes you need all the stuff you listed.
