Ok, disregard my “rate them” comment, sorry for my unrealistic input -
Unpeeling the Orange

I have the 2025 build re003s’ on my 06 XT Forester Turbo and I quite rate them for street wet and dry -
Click on his name and u will see when he was last on this site, it’s not good news…

Sorry for the confusion, I meant would there be heat buildup internally in the S3 that would be detrimental to the ecu situated under the seat but covered over as suggested
-
Would heat build up be no issue? Eg; Haltech S3

I got a Fenix for my LS1 VZ Commo last yr and it was a perfect fit and I liked the quality of it.

You need to remove it out of Soviet Merlin’s post which he quoted -

U read my mind, going to machine it off or get a high temp vinyl etc stick on plate made up. There’s so many other ways they could have made it look cool. Have the option anyway as I need to cut off the throttle body flange and get the dbw flange welded on. -

I used to love going to Amaroo to watch the HQ series go for broke (eventually stopped due to lack of spare parts) and also the Porsche series. It was so cool to back your car up to nearly the edge of the viewing barrier and party with your friends, having a bbq and alcoholic/non drinks. It was such a family/mates atmosphere

Maybe try a rare earth magnet to coax to the drain hole. They aren’t expensive and damn powerful. Sorry if this has already been covered

Exhaust silencers/varex exhausts
Watermouse replied to PotatoCake's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Has anyone used or considered Hi-tech mufflers, Bourke St Darlinghurst? They were the cream of the crop in quality and workmanship when I had my turbo Forester They specialized in custom stainless exhaust systems, especially for Euro supercars -

Don’t know if any one has noticed but there’s a few US spare parts companies that have purchased what seems like all the new old stock NISMO/Skyline parts and charging rich US dollars -
Shockabsorber 101
Watermouse replied to Sydneykid's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Last year I got a set of MCA street coilovers for my turbo Forester after my son hitting a concrete gutter/wall on a small bridge causing the whole drivers side suspension to get bent because the rain just made the car slide out I love them, I think they were $2400. even had a hiccup of have the wrong hub configuration (my fault) so got onto MCA and they sent the correct shock ends overnight parts from QLD, for free! I was very impressed with their customer service and quality of the product -
Who are you to deny yourself? I’ve said this many times to myself and apart from getting what I really want, I go quiet for a while whilst working out what I just did to my savings and how will I afford what it cost, then, next payday…

Drive By Wire Conversion options
Watermouse replied to outsidergarage's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I recently got their dbw 74mm throttle body and pedal kit. It is sensational quality especially the wiring harnesses. Unfortunately I can’t answer u about the fitment to stock inlet manifold as I’m going Rahjab Racing forward plenum. Only one thing to be careful of is understand u have to pay gst and import fees if your purchase is over $1,000 in one shipment. -

I don’t mean this in any negative way. But, if u are after this type of data why don’t u have a flex fuel sensor? -
