  1. r33 gtst rear drag setup suspension Hey guys just need some advice, have gone to heasmans to look at getting a proper rear suspension setup for my r33. They have suggested a bilstein adjustable coilover, for drag and street use. Im confused however, they mentioned the rears would have a rating of about 8kg, I was under the assumption based off other threads I would be moreso looking for alower kg rating such as 4kg? I have limited knowledge about rear coilover suspension hence going to heasmans. Just wanted some clarification before spending the money, Cheers

  6. I think bcozican is correct. It will only fix the clip issue but will not strengthen the box as I know. its not too late to consider other options however not keen on buying a new box. Rather refurb and build mine to be honest
  7. Greddy Profec B W/ garret boost gauge Hi guys, Selling my greddy profec b 1 boost controller with garret boost gauge. Worked flawlessly for me and previous owner for many years. Only reason for sale I upgraded to eboost2. Was stuck with double sided tape by previous owner, could probably get it all off with a scrapper and some persistence. 170 for both ono. Located greystanes 2145

  9. Hmm not a bad idea actually.. just had another chat and they are recomending i upgrade to the newer version of the box to avoid the clip issue again for $1100. Which would bring total to $2200 Originally I was just looking at refurb with possible ppg billet selector fork or plate
  10. yeah not a bad price at all considering these days its at least 1200 or so to buy a second hand box with issues off FB
  11. @iruvyouskyrine hey mate they charged me the following: $1100 for standard rebuild (box out of car and delivered to them) - this includes bearings, seals, gaskets, needle rollers, thrust, washers, circlips. They will inspect once open and give me a full quote before commencing any works such as gears, shafts or hard parts as they put it. Have read multiple threads stating the strength of a good condition rb25 box is fantastic. I wonder however if its worth upgrading anything else while its open. Currently only have 330rkw but with next turbo setup and cams should be looking at about 450ish. Anyone have advice or suggestions? Box isnt going in for a couple of weeks.
  12. cheers guys, ive tried calling award diff and gear and left a message. Probably hear back from them soon if not give them another buzz. So far everyone I've talked to has recommended the same. Do you guys happen to know if they do a gearbox pickup/drop off service? Cheers
  13. r33 rb25 gearbox refurb recomendations Hey guys, After discovering I need a new clutch after 6 races at roll racing I have decided I misewell get the box fixed too while its out. Currently it crunches going into 4th due to those 3 clips popping off which were found in an oil change. Anyone had any personal experience or advice on who to go to in NSW SYDNEY? So far contacted the following with prices: -Award diff and gearbox seven hills (awaiting call back) -Smithfield diff and gearbox - $990 -Gearbox express in ingleburn - 1450 Cheers

  19. Thanks very much for replies. In regards to 6 boost requiring a 50mm gate, I was refering to twin 40 or 45mm gates. Fab work for cooler piping no dramas just wasnt sure how extensive it was going to be. Will have a look at the CRG manifold now as I want to snatch a turbo while there is 20percent off. My hot side needs an upgrade
  20. Need advice on turbo selection! Built rb25 on e85 looking for 400kw roughly - Thinking EFR7670 t4 1.05a/r ewg. Just a street car with a bit of fun at roll racing, drags, powercruise etc. Anyone know a off the shelf manifold that would suit? Or is fabrication always going to be required? Also, waste gate selection? 2x40mm gates should suffice or would you go 45mm?
