  1. Better off getting internal drive nuts as aftermarket wheels tend to not allow you to use standard wheel nuts.
  2. Green slip (CTP) has nothing to do with your comprehensive insurance, CTP is for rego so it won't be affected if you switch (it's prepaid essentially). Companies can give you discounted prices if you have both with them though. Aww. It does say in the terms racing will void unless agreed upon
  3. I have FK452, on a fat arse GT-R they are pretty greasy. I did have the pressures a bit too high though. Definitely want track day tyres for the next one.
  4. I flashed a GT-R on my way to Eastern Creek this morning.
  5. Anyone got pictures of the flaming Nur? KC, hope you're feeling better mate. Even though you lost your pride and joy, it could have been worse, you walked away from it.
  6. How are your arms feeling Poor KC, hope his neck is alright.
  7. It's also heaps brighter hahaha.
  8. You probably bought springs for aftermarket dampers/struts. Did you get the spring diameters?
  9. I rolled the guards myself (on the rear). Previous tyres bashed the lip out on the front guards lol. Rolling is required unless you car is high. It'll probably still scrub. Yep the front part, because I used to run a bit more caster. Had to dial some caster back and add negative camber up front (around -2deg, -1.5deg rear). Caster is around the 5deg mark. I'm running Falken FK452 at the moment. Previously had old Bridgestone TS-02 or something with more rounded shoulders so didn't need guard rolling. If you're worried about not rolling, then get 9" and run 255 wide tyres. I would rather roll and try to cram the widest tyre possible .
  10. I ran Penrite 5W-60 in my GT-R for years, serviced every 10,000km when it was driven as a daily. Never burnt oil either (I warmed the car up obviously). OP, I wouldn't bother with the expensive oils, get Aussie ones (Nulon/Penrite)! But anything around 10W-40 will suffice. HPR10 is fine. What sort of driving will you be doing?
  11. Here's a start. http://www.nengun.com/nismo/z-tune-type-front-fenders-gtr http://www.nismo.co.jp/en/products/competition/ie/pdf/r34.pdf http://www.rhdjapan.com/nismo-r34-gt-r-z-tune-type-aero-parts-front-fender-set.html
  12. Anyone got NRMA to give you insurance for track days?
  13. I have A1RMs and a dodgy BMC, at least brake pedal is better than before (replaced with HFM BM57 but rear brakes didn't work, reverted back to original BMC).
  14. Ultra late post. Apologies for no measurements. This is how the $35 CAMS approved Big W fire extinguisher sits with the evok3d bracket. This is the max forward the seat will go (Standard BNR32 seat).
  15. Gunmetal with white Nismo LMGT1 wheels.Hahaha Terry you funny fella. I hope I didn't make an unwanted voice appearance in your video (at the cafe).
  16. Manual Pulsar does the trick Plus you won't be worried about it parked anyway (compared to the GT-R). Yep, definitely keep the GT-R for weekends, makes you appreciate it more. Driving it everyday made me get over it, I wanted to sell it or burn it a few times. Now it gets driven once a month, love it again.
  17. Weren't you doing 0:59 lap times last year? Put an extra 1L oil in your engine, make sure you check your brake pads and fluids. Make sure you have GOOD brake pads, I learnt the hard way at Oran Park.
  18. Yay someone took a photo of my car! Hahaha.
  19. I have option two on my car. Roll the guards and run 275/35/18 or fat 265's . You'll have to do more alignment work though to stop it rubbing on the inner plastic front guard things. Either sizes are fine IMO.
  20. I stopped driving my GT-R for that reason haha. Shame I have to run my Pulsar's crappy tyres at 40psi.
  21. I'll take one of those stickers Terry
  22. I dailied my GT-R. $100+ per week on petrol (driving from one end of Sydney to another in traffic, 3hr commute per day) on $45k p.a. salary was not fun. Get a cheap runaround if you drive a lot. Does your car need a rebuild? If not, just keep driving it and save. Depends on how you drive.
  23. Get a Cusco one from Jesse Streeter if you can wait a week or two.
  24. Let the synchro spin up, that's how I drive my R31 with worn out single synch gearbox . Double clutch + granny shifting
  25. ^ That's the fire extinguisher I have too I forgot to take pictures last night, will do it tonight.
