  1. Never knew that. I've never seen silver BNR34 wheels though. Good luck with the sale, it is priced really well.
  2. R34 GT-R wheels come in one colour from factory. But it could be repainted. Post pictures of the wheels.
  3. Spotted what looked like fatz's old white GT-R heading west on M5 yesterday afternoon.
  4. I would say roughly 95dB, but I'm no sound engineer so it could be more or less. It's certainly loud enough to get noticed, but won't rattle your neighbour's windows.
  5. Spotted CYA-250 (R33) in Liverpool next to Westfields and a white BNR32 on old Volk 5-spokes parked in front of the Kick-boxing place on Hoxton Park Rd.
  6. Did you check the links on the +ve terminal on the battery?
  7. My R32 GT-R (1990) uses H3C in low (projector) and H3 high.My R31 projectors are the same. Actually most Jap projectors from that era should be using H3C, but who knows.
  8. Rolling diameter for ATTESSA cars (e.g. GT-Rs) have to be the same. ATTESA doesn't like different rolling diameters, you'll wear it out a lot quicker as it keeps kicking in. So, the tyre sizes have to be the same. You can perhaps run the same size on all wheels? I would rather run the same size all round.
  9. Got KU31s fitted there. They treated me okay, as I knew exactly what I wanted. Walked in, asked for tyres, got them fitted next day I made the mistake of getting my car aligned there though, threw everything out. Don't know what sort of damage they might have done to my wheels as it has rashes already. Just go and pick up tyres from them, don't let them touch your car. Don't expect any other sort of service.
  10. I have both tyres new on my car. I can safely say KU31 is better than the Federals overall, especially in the wet. I still get surprised how good the KU31s are in the wet. Unfortunately I don't have a set on my cars atm but will when the time comes. The SS595 is a bit noisy, and about 50% worn lose a lot of grip. Perhaps it's because they got old as well. They do have a lot of contact patch so when warm in the dry they perform pretty well for their price. It all depends on what you want from the tyres.
  11. Testing. Try different pressures and see what you like. Some tyes like 36-38psi, some work >40psi. Some are fine at 32psi. I generally run all my tyres at 38psi (45 series or less).
  12. What sort of driving are you going to do? Nothing wrong with KU31 for daily driving (255/35/18 on my GT-R, lasted ~20,000km, great grip for the price)
  13. Pump your tyres up to 40psi. Get wheel alignment done. Ask for pre and post alignment printout.
  14. From experience, KU31 > SS595. You can still pick them up cheap from st george/tempe tyres (Sydney). They last at least 20,000km as well. Best tyre I've ridden on was a set of used RE050 RE040 are also pretty good. I would actually rate KU31 to having almost the same grip as RE040. Has anyone tried KU39? My GT-R came with Falken Zeix tyres, rubbish in the wet. The wheels I put on came with camber worn KU31s, they were better in the wet than the Zeix was in the dry (from memory). I have a set of old 2nd hand Azenis (can't remember the model) at the moment. Doesn't mean that much since it's old and 2nd hand, but the KU31s that I put on before gripped more in both wet and dry. Street driving only.
  15. $100 for the front pipe $200 for the cat-back (may fit R32 GTS-t but don't hold that against me).
  16. Pics of lip; any ducts?
  17. At the moment pickup only, but if I get time later on in the week I'll have a look into it.
