  1. Haven't got one for the type r but have seen one for the car that "makes positive pressure at 1500" in the rb26 thread
  2. There was a little salt with the silly line drawn on the dyno sheet as a quick search for a genuine dyno sheet show a very different result soon have a huge order I need to do and it will come in that order
  3. I like real world results as well and really want to see the difference of those vs vcam which is the direction I'm going
  4. But you've got it all worked out, you have a line drawn on Paul dyno sheet with paintshop, you have your Silvia's result, you want to put cams in it. Now all you need to do it do it and prove everyone wrong
  5. so the moral of the story is 8 degrees was enough to make 500rpm difference and the thread is asking about increasing it by 10 and 14 and expecting the response to improve?
  6. Parts that actually work never are cheap
  7. Mick is the only person I know of that has used them and the only reason he fitted them was because he couldn't find factory cams at the time
  8. its not cost effective when it doesn't give you what you're after. as a few have said just advance the intake cam a few more degrees to shift power lower, that's the cost effective solution
  9. What you're asking about is going to be a compromise either way, vcam won't be. I know it's not cheap but it's the only real solution.
  10. yes you will, but it will give you what you want
  11. Speaking of stupidly high reading dynos, what happened to that bloke that made 700kw with -5s. He seemed to disappear after running his car on an Aussie dyno
  12. Vcam will give you everything you're after
  13. I want to see all the tripple 8 cars all destroy each other before the first turn
  14. Yes the n1 pump flows more then the standard gtr pump, yes they are common to break due to the brittle material used for the gears inside
  15. The main influence in trap speed is the number at the top of the dyno sheet, so if 2 cars make 500kw with 2 different turbos then they will trap very close to each other. The mid range will be more relevant on a circuit and shown in the laps times very quickly
  16. And probably the n1 oil pump due to them breaking a lot
  17. I have 265/35/18s on a 10in +23 without rolling the guards I don't understand why you'd ruin perfectly good guards by rolling them
  18. If you need to run a 255 tyre, roll the guards and run camber to get them under the guard, then I'm not interested!! just because they are on the car doesn't mean they fit
  19. I'm currently making 350kw at the wheels with factory untouched manifolds with -7s, basically with a -7/-9 the turbo will run out of flow before the factory casting of the manifolds. -5 I'd say is when it's time to open them up
  20. 265/35/18 is what I've always run, with an 18x9.5+17 they touched the rear guards
  21. If you're willing to roll the guards which I'm not and depending on the height also go one size to small on the tyre size which I also won't do
  22. No they need to be square or the atessa loses its mind, oh and those sizes are extremely aggressive for an r32 and will hang out the guards
  23. I reckon the Nissan fans will even donate to pay the bill!!
