  1. That will be a great idea for when they build a track at Coffs Harbour, then it's halfway for sydney and Brisbane
  2. Have you bought them yet?
  3. only has 91,000kms according to the auction sheet and they still gave it a hair cut and only has 73,000kms on it now
  4. What turbos are you looking at replacing the -9s with?
  5. Wow some people have way to much money
  6. I not being a smart ass but I did the swap in 2 weekends going from a rb20 with a broken timing belt to a running rb25 using a series 2 rb25, wiring harness and ecu. I used all the r32 alternator, starter, power steering pump, a/c compressor, engine mounts and harmonic balancer. So it bolted back in as if it was always there then modified the r33 harness using the 32 body plugs (in the cabin) and fired it up and never had an issue, it was my daily driver and everything worked as per factory
  7. The swap is very easy, but make sure you also get the wiring harness and ecu, then all you need to do is change the plug under the dash to r32 type and it all plugs in and works
  8. In my r32 Gtr I just pulled everything out for the rear part and then used an r33 Gtr power steering pump and bracket
  9. If we do this again I will be in, couldn't last time due to over seas travel
  10. Looks home made
  11. Looks the goods mate, can't wait to start seeing some times
  12. There is a thread somewhere on the forum that is a buyers guide, it will be a massive help for you If you're not confident to look for yourself I would find a workshop that specialise in imports and take it to them to inspect (for a fee of corse)
  13. Texi would be great for that cause unless you really make a mess of it, the worst thing you a going to hit is a witches hat But both of the company's you've mentioned will give you a lot of training and help you along the way
  14. Check for accident damage, make sure gearbox doesn't crunch, diff doesn't whine, no noises in engine, no miss fires under load, check for banging in rear (diff bushes), check castor bushes, look for power steering leaks, clicking behind dash when a/c is operated. After buying Get run on a dyno to check for pinging and air/fuel ratios (fuel pumps are getting old)
  15. The head gasket is the least of your worries
  16. Reliable and 10 second Gtr really don't go in the same sentence
  17. Just go drive the dog box and then buy one, they don't make what you're after because it serves no benefit over what they already sell
  18. acceleration will improve down low, by how much is all a matter of personal opinion, some will say it so a lot better and others will say a little bit
  19. factory those holes don't exist, they are drilled in there when after market sump baffles are fitted
  20. Wondering if you have the radiator and engine fan?
  21. All the fitting that go onto the turbos are just the standard ones except the oil drains due to the bolt spacing being different
  22. No was asking cause I go to Fiji often and would love to see the car in person, but I stay near Sigatoka
