  1. Didn’t think of it for the old harness will look into that, already intend to use it when I make the new harness for the ecu/engine
  2. Thanks mate mine is set for the fan to come on with the ac but it never did and I ended up doing the diode mod, now that I know that I’ll remove it and set it up like that
  3. That’s a pretty impressive, not sure how it would go on a smaller engine though atp do a g35 with a 1.06 t4 twin scroll rear on it which I think would work well
  4. I have been very tempted to buy a set
  5. I know the pain of having to buy another optima battery, I mean I only bought my current one 10yrs ago and now it needs replacing again 😡 seriously what kinda half arsed products are they making lol *disclaimer there’s a lot of sarcasm in this post*
  6. Something little but has been a pain in the ass for ages the spring for the fuel flap went missing when I gave it to someone for paint matching years ago and I was able to buy one new quickly clipped it onto the flap and now when I open the door it pops open again. As I said it’s a really small thing but sometimes they make big differences
  7. I had this issue with mine for years, turned out to be the balancer
  8. People have been machining pistons since the beginning of engines, that’s how they lower compression or make room for the valves when using cams with huge lift, it’s even how they’re made in the first place
  9. Damn that’s gone, have you had a chance to check the head?
  10. I’ve seen it done and it works, the rb26 has a lower compression ratio then the rb25 and may not be as high as you think. After measuring everything up, if the compression ends up to high you can machine the dome on the piston down to bring the compression down to what you require
  11. I’m not attached to any of the specific workshops so my car wouldn’t even get a look in lol
  12. Nothings really changed for me. I’ve always wanted mine to be a very fast street car and that is what I’m still building, it was always a rule that I won’t cut holes in it and the only ones I have drilled is for some rivnuts in the boot to hold things. it’s just ended up a lot faster then I ever expected it to be and lucky for me there’s now things like roll racing where I can use it to its full potential
  13. It’s good, if it wasn’t for the fact you can hear it wind up before you start the car you’d never know thanks mate
  14. Americans
  15. I had it vapor blasted then put it back, I wanted new lines but a few a discontinued i also had it vapor blasted and then painted the black bit to make it look as new as possible.
  16. Then I bled all the brakes using good quality brake fluid, put all the wheels back on and now I pretty much can’t do anything until the engine and wiring harness arrive
  17. Fitted all the brake lines back into the bay with all new clips to hold them onto the firewall also fitted some nismo braided brake lines as they follow the factory routing and make a lot less nervous that they may end up touching and rubbing through also some new break clips as it seem the old line stretched the original ones
  18. They’d be thrust bearing as all hks turbos are based on Mitsubishi turbos now
  19. I’ve only played with the gtr ones and they come with a washer
  20. It comes with the washer
  21. I was wondering if a set of r33 arms would just bolt in if you use the gktech kit
  22. The 32 has the same pick up points as the s13 that were changed in the 33/34 to being the same as the 14/15 i know a lot of the fast 32s have changed it
  23. I’ve got a set sitting here that I’m unsure about fitting
  24. It depends if your current turbine is a restriction or not, if it is go up to the 35, it’s it’s not then stick the 30. Also the g30 turbine wheel will flow more then your gt30 one either way you go the compressor wheel is going walk away from your current turbo
  25. Do you need instructions on how to put fuel in it? What about starting the car?
