HKS GTIII-4R VS HKS GTIII-5R RB26DETT
r32-25t replied to ASTRO_GTR's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Here’s where they both belong you will make more power with better response from pretty much anything from Garrett or precision -
What are your power goals? What fuel are you going to be running? How often will you be giving it a hard time?

g35-900 vs g35-1050 vs 6466
r32-25t replied to Scratched Skyline's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Mine was the typical stock engine with a big turbo on it and It didn’t last long at all, it wasn’t a huge failure it was just little signs things weren’t right, I thought it had just blown the head gasket and when I got the head off it had cracked between the head bolt hole and the coolant jackets in a few spots. I also kinda think the issues may have already been there before I put the 6466 on and it made them more obvious. The braces probably werent around when you built your engine, people were only grout filling and hoping for the best, I’ve gone billet block for my new engine -

If you can get a 35-1050 with a twin scroll housing they’d be a pretty awesome choice, I’ve got a 6466 and was very happy with it until the block broke and am in the process of building an engine and going to put it back on -

If you need to ask questions like this you need to give your car to a professional -

Lol there no way I’d put up with the lag a turbo big enough to flow that would have -

Bought the new rear housing and had it ceramic coated and fitted it to the tarbin -
They were talking M3s at one stage which the price point is closer the the rs4 and then both can see who has the bigger stone attached to their resale value

seeing as I can’t do a great deal with the front at the moment I decided to do some work at the back of the car in go some rear camber arms to stand the wheels up a lot more once installed I dialed the camber down to half a degree, the toe is still all over the shop because I didn’t have the string lines to be able to measure it -
There’s plenty of us still playing with them but waiting times for parts has never been longer

Cusco lsd for R32 gtr.
r32-25t replied to khezz's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I have a quaife in the front and a factory rear with nismo plates, because the rear diff in the gtr is already a mechanical diff by adding some plates that make it stiffer is a cheaper way of ending up with the same result as replacing the entire center -
