I had it vapor blasted then put it back, I wanted new lines but a few a discontinued
i also had it vapor blasted and then painted the black bit to make it look as new as possible.
Then I bled all the brakes using good quality brake fluid, put all the wheels back on and now I pretty much can’t do anything until the engine and wiring harness arrive
Fitted all the brake lines back into the bay with all new clips to hold them onto the firewall
also fitted some nismo braided brake lines as they follow the factory routing and make a lot less nervous that they may end up touching and rubbing through
also some new break clips as it seem the old line stretched the original ones
The 32 has the same pick up points as the s13 that were changed in the 33/34 to being the same as the 14/15
i know a lot of the fast 32s have changed it
It depends if your current turbine is a restriction or not, if it is go up to the 35, it’s it’s not then stick the 30. Also the g30 turbine wheel will flow more then your gt30 one
either way you go the compressor wheel is going walk away from your current turbo
You could go the g30 900 and then you’ll have the same size exhaust wheel as your current turbo and a smaller front wheel then your current turbo and still have the ability to make a lot more power
Well seeing as I couldn’t go to work because of getting beer flu I decided to work on the gtr once I had enough energy.
Pulled the rest of the interior out and removed the battery wiring, the battery tray ready to re wire the entire boot. Then I fitted the surge tank in the corner of the boot
then started plumbing the tank into the fuel lines I already had
I had to wait for 60° fitting to do the last line as it wouldn’t run where I wanted it to without it
I’ll be wiring in some solid state relays and etc, just need the engine to turn up and the new wiring harness before I wire it all up
I wouldn’t go near it, there’s a reason he’s left the cams in, the 3rd journal on the intake cam is stuffed and the 1st, 2nd journal on the exhaust are pretty bad and the 3rd and 4th aren’t far behind them
I don’t understand why turbo makers are moving away from the twin scroll housings, garret have been doing it for years and precision have done it with anything with a 75mm turbine and bigger
They can advertise for what ever they like, it’s safe to say they won’t get it considering there hasn’t even been a ztune that has sold any where near that price
An issue people are having now particularly with the r32 is the abs pumps are starting to leak and can’t be rebuild and no longer available, which makes deleting it their only option
For being road legal it depends if your car was built before or after the ADRs made it mandatory. Considering the N1 GTRs and most gtst skylines don’t have it says that it’s fine
I’ve been on the fence about doing the same to mine
