  1. Usually when I order from rhd it leaves on the Friday afternoon and arrives Monday morning or Tuesday at the latest
  2. Yep get them hands dirty you lazy bum lol
  3. I don’t think they do. Didn’t appear to have any hoists just racking as far as I could see
  4. I had it in my car and installed it myself, what do you need to know?
  5. Yes I personally used the factory carrier in my car when I had the nismo copper mix twin plate in my car
  6. Use the factory carrier
  7. Active power steering in revsby are doing it, they definitely know their stuff
  8. The boots on the rack were stuffed and the rack ends and tie rod ends are 30yrs old so figured I’d send the whole rack away to be rebuilt Lucky I did because it turned out the shaft needed rechroming so hopefully should have that back next week and can put it back together again
  9. Didn’t think of it for the old harness will look into that, already intend to use it when I make the new harness for the ecu/engine
  10. Thanks mate mine is set for the fan to come on with the ac but it never did and I ended up doing the diode mod, now that I know that I’ll remove it and set it up like that
  11. That’s a pretty impressive, not sure how it would go on a smaller engine though atp do a g35 with a 1.06 t4 twin scroll rear on it which I think would work well
  12. I have been very tempted to buy a set
  13. I know the pain of having to buy another optima battery, I mean I only bought my current one 10yrs ago and now it needs replacing again 😡 seriously what kinda half arsed products are they making lol *disclaimer there’s a lot of sarcasm in this post*
  14. Something little but has been a pain in the ass for ages the spring for the fuel flap went missing when I gave it to someone for paint matching years ago and I was able to buy one new quickly clipped it onto the flap and now when I open the door it pops open again. As I said it’s a really small thing but sometimes they make big differences
  15. I had this issue with mine for years, turned out to be the balancer
  16. People have been machining pistons since the beginning of engines, that’s how they lower compression or make room for the valves when using cams with huge lift, it’s even how they’re made in the first place
  17. Damn that’s gone, have you had a chance to check the head?
  18. I’ve seen it done and it works, the rb26 has a lower compression ratio then the rb25 and may not be as high as you think. After measuring everything up, if the compression ends up to high you can machine the dome on the piston down to bring the compression down to what you require
  19. I’m not attached to any of the specific workshops so my car wouldn’t even get a look in lol
  20. Nothings really changed for me. I’ve always wanted mine to be a very fast street car and that is what I’m still building, it was always a rule that I won’t cut holes in it and the only ones I have drilled is for some rivnuts in the boot to hold things. it’s just ended up a lot faster then I ever expected it to be and lucky for me there’s now things like roll racing where I can use it to its full potential
  21. It’s good, if it wasn’t for the fact you can hear it wind up before you start the car you’d never know thanks mate
  22. Americans
  23. I had it vapor blasted then put it back, I wanted new lines but a few a discontinued i also had it vapor blasted and then painted the black bit to make it look as new as possible.
  24. Then I bled all the brakes using good quality brake fluid, put all the wheels back on and now I pretty much can’t do anything until the engine and wiring harness arrive
