Head Gasket Choice RB25det NEO GTX3076

If you know what you're doing then of course not, just don't aggressively ramp timing until you've past max torque. Even keep the timing values static till you see torque decay heavily. And yes, have knock strategies in place with the factory knock sensors would be an advantage with your tune. In terms of the copper spray, I can't see any negatives with using it. -

How I see it is you've spent that money/time to take off the head and skim it, purchased a larger turbo and going to run ARP studs (over the factory head bolts), then what's an extra $200 to the equation? not much. Not to mention the Nitto OR Tomei headgasket will seal better and also will withstand the punishment as it's o-ringed. Every car workshop does the same thing. I also got told this advice from both MRC and Billtech (both reputable RB workshops). I would only advise going with a Cometic or similar style headgasket if your block is prepped. -

You clearly missed what I said earlier about Tomei or Nitto head gaskets ? -

You know a Tomei or Nitto head gasket is much more? Not to mention it's better than the stock composite head gasket. -
You will find that spinning past 8k starts to get pointless as you can't get into gears and spit power steering belt - unless you've got an auto or a sequential. But yeah, I've spun mine to 9k rpm just to hear what it sounds like, and each time it kisses the limiter at 9.2k it shoots off a powersteering belt Yet to go on the dyno, but with timing figures at 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 11, 11, 12, 12, 13, 13 it's more than safe.

Tomei or Nitto o-ring gasket, avoid Cometic if your block isn't prepped as it won't seal. -

if you want cheap Brembos and don't want to pay the GT-R tax, get yourself 350Z Brembos calipers, Rotors They will sit a bit future out compared to the GT-R ones, but if you've already got some decent wheels you'll clear it. Oh, here's a guide I wrote many years ago: http://www.trak-life.com/diy-350z-brembo-brakes-conversion-nissan-skyline-r33-gts-t-gts-gts-4/ -

Yeah, but I find their interiors and exterior styling doesn't provide boners - reminds me of my asian neighbour's clapped out camry -

Even a 340i or 335i F30 M-Sport with the optioned LSD. Maintenance would be relatively cheap if you're hands on and being a N55 or B58 motor they're pretty good - once again, with good maintenance. Also you could take them onto the track thrash its mum, go to the shops and not get defected or have your eardrums snap off. -

I really should blog about my tuning aye? one of my mates gave me that idea - since I kind of already do it here on SAU but it just gets lost in the boat talk - have a read! https://www.nhbautomotive.com.au/blogs/news/tuning-a-nissan-200sx-s15-on-e85-flex-tune Also use the code NEARLYSUMMER for 15% off ALL BRAKE PADS

Those BMWs are like meth, one you get a taste you're hooked -
This week only, $240 for full set of Intima SR brake pads OR $250 for Elig Sports brake pads shipped with Invoice for Sumitomo caipers, i.e. Benshit DB1170 and DB1220. Happily knock off $30 if you bank transfer (still get invoice, ShitPal takes a massive percentage for payment - so try and avoid)
