  1. question is, do you actually need all the features that a Link G4 OR ViPec OR Haltech has to offer? something like a cheapie Adaptronic Select would do the trick for most of your needs.
  2. Call up NPC and speak to Doug, OR alternatively, call Scott at Western Clutch at St Mary's and ask if he can sort you out. He uses the same pressure plates as Doug uses in his NPC clutch kits but sets the clamp only at ~1700kgs so the car is more driveable where as Doug goes for the moon. Scott tested mine and it was over 1900kg of clamping force making the car a bucket of shit to drive and he reconfigured it to around 1700kg.. the car drives like a Yaris now after he curved my new clutch disc.

  4. Not yet haven't had a chance to get the car running on e85 bought some bs injectors and flooded the motor
  5. For what it does it works well, in version 12 Andy has introduced load vs rpm for the flex table which gives it more control unlike previous versions which only blanket fixed amount of timing and blanket fuel amount depending on the ethanol content. It's much better now however not as sexy as a Haltech but for what it is and what it's worth I'm pretty happy with the features it provides. Just one small thing I dislike, the USB connector is flimsy I snapped mine and had to solder it back onto the PCB lol
  6. Nooooooooo save money for beer and tits
  7. ^ yeah they do, just keep the revs great than 50% at all times LOL
  8. yep, with any AFM setup if you're introducing "un-metered" air from the atmosphere it will cause all sorts of issues.. hence if you're running an AFM setup with a vented catch can you need to delete the PCV
  9. ^ so it is a track car, well drag strip track car lol
  10. FWIW, I ran my sietbox 180SX (RB20DET) back in the day with a RB25DET turbo at 1bar on the stocker ECU.. went alright, until I got a CEFF1E remap (not sure if he is still around) and the car started to wake up
  11. another thing is ling long idlers & tensioners.. just get OEM..
  12. just bragging here.. saw Kylie Minogue at Coldplay last night.. fuARKKKKKKKKKKKK
  13. Must be the in thing these days! Or lazy previous owners finding any ECU and taking out aftermarket ones
  14. Just buy all OEM man, cheap enough on Ebay.
  15. Easy, legal-ish, doesn't stink and all black. No atmospheric business and PCV valve still in place. Works like a set of tits.
  16. Spotted a black R34 GT-t at Fairfield station at 11:30PM. Owner and partner having a nap in the car lol
  17. FWIW, drop in a RB25DET with a basic high flow.. overall this will cost less at the end of the day/build. I've had my fair share of RB20s back in the day, however even a SR20 makes more torque, power and response for less.
  18. give me a 6 pack of white rabbit OR James Squire.. that will do.. comes with links but no brackets as I'm using them.
  19. ^ great job on the economy side - on very load & cruising RPM you could even lean it a a touch close to 15.5 if you're after economy.. however drop back the timing a little so keep the cylinders happy.
  20. Problem with a f**ked up tax system, people rather just not work, sponge off the government then find other means to make ends meet.
  21. maybe drop in a RB25DET and just buy a HyperGear high-flowed turbo for like $800 (not sure if he has that special still).. will pull heaps harder than any RB20DET and at the end of the day cost you a few thousand dollars less too!
  22. ^ could happen to anyone mate, thus these days I always print & stick my labels on that way those numpties at AusPost can't screw it up!
