If you can hook a video input into it somehow, porn?

Australian Protective Services are part of the Australian Federal Police. They do have the same power essentially as an AFP officer, even slightly more in some cases. But they couldnt give two rats about your car. The worst they would do is dob you into the local police station.

While Making A Surge Tank For My Gt-r......
Amaru replied to yug_r34's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Has to make you wonder how many times the former owner bonked a dirty prostitute in the seat you sit in every time you drive the car -
Are Xr6 Turbo Drivers The New Commodore Driver?
Amaru replied to morgsj50's topic in General Automotive Discussion
I dont really have a problem with XR6T drivers... just Honda Accord Euro drivers. They cannot drive for shit and think the cars are the best things in the world. NEWSFLASH FOR ANYONE THAT OWNS ONE: They are slow ass cheap wannabe luxury cars. Stop acting posh thinking your car is on the same level as a 5 series+ BMW. -
Qualifying is being telecast on TEN at 2:30 Sunday morning (less than 4 hours). Not live but at least we get to see it for a change. -SPOILER- Kimi Raikkonen crashes on first Qualifying session.

That bottom line is boost. If your AFR was 13-14:1 you would have killed the engine a long time ago.

Its exactly the same. You are venting exhaust gasses to the atmosphere unmuffled and not using a catalytic converter. You could put a muffler and cat on a screamer pipe and it would be perfectly legal. aquariuz6, are you after the choof-choof-choof-choof noise when you come off the throttle rather than blow off valve noise? From your posts thats what im guessing as you dont seem to comprehend what a screamer pipe actually is (not to mention asked if you can run a BOV when you have installed your screamer pipe??), and alot of people think a ''wastegate'' makes the choof-choof-choof-choof noise.

To my knowledge they use the GT35R cartridge housing and GT35R compresser and housing. The GT42 housing is a custom make as seen on GTR-700 and the Sumo Power GTR. Exhaust A/R sizes range from 0.63 to 1.15. Thats for the HKS ones, not sure on what Veilside changed on theirs (as once again, to my knowledge they are modified HKS ones). The one 100% fact I do know about them is they are still efficient well over 2 bar and easily crank out 1000+hp.

Who Aftermarket Cranks With Stock Specs?
Amaru replied to 600hp's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I believe HKS made a standard stroke forged counterweight crank, I dont think they do anymore though (only the 75.7mm stroke crank/2.8L). Worth checking out, but they do cost a very pretty penny. -
Was out for a bit at 9 with JUN, lots of Subarus showed up then I had to go to work... doh again!
-
Pretty sure it used Veilside GT3540's, a slightly modified version of the HKS 3540. Grab some HKS 3540's, theyre commonly for sale on Yahoo Auctions in Japan at a decent price. Quickest GTR in the world runs these turbos too

Go past today and it looks completely different again (if I could post picture I would, but it has no front end on it at the moment). Should be an absolute weapon when its back on the road running around.
-
At work till 11:45 doh Should have my new radiator in next week hopefully

I believe the ban is based on a stock standard car, as such you cant drive it legally even if you reduce the power. Its still a GTR, it still originally makes too much power, its still on the banned list.

What To Do.....buy A Built 400awkw Gtr
Amaru replied to Veilside R33's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Agreed completely. I had the fortunate pleasure of going in JUN 2.7L's car when it was running 500awkw and it drives better than every stock one I have been in (except its a bit laggier, as to be expected). His car is driven in this trim all day every day with a driveline thats not to be sneezed at (rated for double the power he is currently making) and its a beautiful car to ride in. It put to rest any misconceptions I ever had after hearing people say large camshafts and dog boxes ruin a street car. Now when do I get to drive it Nick, so I can comment on how it feels from the drivers seat? EDIT: I believe Leewah drives his car daily as well. Wind up the boost on that thing and its run 617kw. -
Well the time has come to buy a house, so im gauging interest in my R32. I have owned it since September 2003 when I bought it basically stock, excluding the power fc, brakes and air filters. It had a rebuild at 76000kms with forged pistons, shot peened rods, lots of head work and is currently getting another rebuild because I didnt do the crank collar originally and decided to put a set of forged rods in it. It was still running strong making in excess of 300kw at the wheels before the current rebuild... its basically only for safetys sake. Specs of the car are... 1992 R32 GTR 107000kms. Arias 86.5mm forged pistons with Wiesco piston rings Eagle conrods with ARP 2000 rod bolts Uprated main and big end bearings (ACL race series) Head porting and polishing (20cfm increase) Pro Engines JUN style oil sump baffles Pro Engines JUN style crankshaft collar Pro Engines Tomei style head oil restrictor Nissan N1 oil pump Tomei Poncam 260 degree in/ex camshafts Tomei adjustable cam gears HKS twin entry fuel rail Sard 700cc fuel injectors Sard RJ fuel pressure regulator (the big one) Bosch 040 pump in tank lifting to 2L surge tank Bosch 044 pump from surge tank to fuel rail HKS CDI ignition amplifier HKS twin plate clutch HKS chromolly flywheel Stainless steel high mount exhaust manifold Garrett T04Z (0.96 exh) turbochargers Tial 55mm external wastegate Veilside Drag-SPL 3.5" exhaust Trust twin entry drag intercooler (6" biggest you can buy) PWR 40mm aluminium radiator Just Jap 19 row oil cooler with relocater Nissan Z32 airflow meters Apexi Power Intake pod filters Apexi Power FC with hand controller Apexi AVC-R Tein Type HA coil over suspension Whiteline adjustable sway bars front and rear Whiteline camber and castor kit Nissan R34 GTR 18" rims with Nangkang NS-2 tyres (lots of tread left) Brembo R33 GTR front brake callipers DBA 4000 front brake discs with RB74 pads Slotted rear brake discs with unknown pads MOMO steering wheel R33 GTR drivers seat Sony head unit with stacker and speakers Immobilser and pager alarm There are probably more parts on the car I cant remember off the top of my head at the moment. The engine is currently being built by Pro Engines (have built many high hp RB motors) and will easily crack the 400kw barrier once tuned (it will be dyno tuned before sale). The interior of the car is in immaculate condition with only one small cigerette burn on the side of the drivers seat. Genuine instrument cluster is still installed in the car. The exterior of the car is in good condition, however the front bar will need a respray. It has also had a few scrapes which have been touched up. The parts and labour of this build well and truely exceed $30,000, and I am looking for offers over $35,000. Dont even bother with sub $30k offers, the amount of time and money invested in this car is well above that. This is a regretful sale, but unfortunately I cant shower in a GTR. The new owner will also probably see a 6 foot 5 grown man cry as he is handing over the keys. I can be contacted via PM or amaru at internode.on.net. No pictures at the moment, will post when I get the car back.

Spotted RUFGTR today up in Sydney
-
Is the knock continuous? If so it could be a big end bearing as is all too common with these cars. If so, stop driving it as you will only do more damage to the motor. What area do you live in? Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane? Need to know this before people can reccomend workshops.

Just Got Defected :{ No Number Plate
Amaru replied to GunMetalR33's topic in Australian Capital Territory
Boost controller alters emissions from the vehicle, its illegal. Same with SAFC, same with ECU's etc. -
Going to Sydney tomorrow to look at some new toys, so even once the radiator is done it might not be mine anymore so you wont get to see the polished header tank goodness
-
Ill come out for a little bit in the mighty Rav4 but probably wont come for the cruise.

Rb26: Noise Made When The Car Sees Boost!
Amaru replied to Turbz_13's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Of course if you remove the electricity supply from the coil pack its not going to run properly, it means one cylinder isnt firing. If you think thats it, when the car is running like crap disconnect coil packs one at a time. If when you disconnect each one the car runs worse, its nothing to do with ignition. If you disconnect one and theres no change in the car, then thats your problem. -

Step 1: Remove the listing of parts on your car. There is one RTA inspector who frequents these forums, so youve just given them a clean list of parts on the car. Step 2: I believe RTA provides a complimentary tube of vaseline for your personal comfort -
Yeah, didnt you know? Skylines and Mini Trucks hate each other, its like east coast vs west coast, everyone will get all hyped up, make some noise about it, then you watch for it, pac and biggie will get shot then its all over... then youll just be left with a bunch of 15 yr old nerds pretending theyre gangstas pining for the good ol days.

Standard rev limit is 8250rpm, sounds like you may have chipped/aftermarket ECU.
