  1. Sorry to keep you waiting Dale, it must be frustrating for you
  2. Aaron, is that a reference to the Subies? Or something I am missing?
  3. I do.. Only Apple item I own/have ever owned and I still use it because it works nicely in the car and gym and has 160GB of music. Certainly more music than my One X can handle lol
  4. Looks rubbish. "Free" or not, it will still cost me my time which I can't get back.
  5. Marine carpet in the back is good for dogs. If they happen to spew on it - say after drinking half the ocean - it will hold it and you can just hose it off
  6. Custom metal gaskets as a replacement when needed?
  7. No, not at all.... I just find it funny hearing that it will go pop running that kind of power when the only basis for comparison is either the RB25det or the VQ35de. I know of none running 350kw at the wheels... but how many have tried? I've read about the 2.8L VQ25det in Japan running 315awkw but that is running a VQ35de crank and TEPS rods/pistons. I'd love to see and reckon it would be golden at around 350-360 with the 3076 as a reliable daily but it ain't my car nor money and I am only going on what I "feel" the engine could do. All speculation of course
  8. He didn't think the GB would last at 300 if I recall correctly... but then neither did the GB rebuild place!
  9. ... and how exactly would he know this? Where has he seen the power limits of a VQ25det? I certainly haven't seen or read of one popping due to reaching it's limit.
  10. ^ RWD manual I love the Momentum kit, but 30kw more than Scott's setup on a built 3.5?
  11. It amazes me how he as enabled the breeding process as there is neither a hoist nor a set of ramps at his disposal...

  13. Had a similar thing with my wife's car, would tick damn loud when accelerating. First thing I did was an engine flush and put some GOOD oil in it along with a filter of course. I'd personally grab some Motul 300V 10w40 and put it in after flushing the previous oil. Might cost you $140 in oil + filter. Best case = engine back to running well Worst case = no change (but at least you ruled out poor oil)
  14. Just imagine of Scott still had his Legals as well! lol
  15. At least you have public transport I have to walk to work 65kms each way... in the snow... uphill...
  16. Go to G35driver for first hand experiences with these exhausts. I don't have one, nor will I ever... I own a Stagea
  17. You can get all error codes with Consult 3
  18. Might be -1 due to the fuel being used (98 instead of 100)?
  19. Colour code those flares and skirts!
  20. Why wouldn't it? Same car. It is only the exhaust manifold (extractors/headers) that you need to worry about due to the steering rack being on the other side for the yanks. Obviously you can't use a Coupe exhaust on a Sedan due to the spare wheel well.
  21. I never thought I'd say it Craig, but that is going to be one nice looking ARX
  22. So get the damn AFM already Alex Since this is the M35 Hypergear thread, I figure I should put up a couple of pics of the first M35 turbo that Stao did... a couple of years ago now. Wasn't in my car but I was told by the owner that it behaved like the standard turbo but didn't run out of puff. No dyno sheet.
  23. Low-mid 80's Nismo thermostat opens at 68 degrees (76.5 OEM) so might as well keep it as cool as you can without forcing it into limp mode
