lol. have you been smoking the ol wacky backy? He has a skyline GTR, he's on skylines australia and the company in question doesn't appear to have anything to do with building motor bikes. my point was i can be 90% sure he's not in japan, and he didn't buy the engine himself, or pay cash at power craft to have it built. It was almost certainly in a car he's bought overseas. and like I said there is no problem with trying, but you cut rezz in half for what seemed like pretty reasonable advice to me.
-
lol, he just said he knows nothing about this company. I think the logical assumption here is that he has bought/imported a car (either in aus, uk canada where ever). the owner/broker/seller has sold him a line about the car having a 'built' motor, and look here's a sticker on the car as proof... lol so now he wants to try and find out what's in this phantom build. I agree with rezz there is almost a snowballs chance, but it's worth having a go anyway.

R32 Gtr Again With Steering Problems
Beer Baron replied to Angus Smart's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
lot's of things will affect how the steering feels. castor has a big impact. toe has quite an impact too. I would be looking at a problem possibly with how the hicas was removed. I know of lots and lots of 32 GTRs that have removed hicas only to end up with steering problems. -
it's a damn nice car. I dunno if I personally would pay $120K for it, but I don't doubt that they would have spent more than that building it. as for it being "re vinned as a GTR" not possible. it's a GTS. I can't be "re-vinned" there is no such thing.

Compliance On My R32 Gtr
Beer Baron replied to gtrboosting's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
$2300 + GST is about right. as for the doors. As I understand it you CANNOT just fit late model GTR doors to satisfy this requirement. as when they complied early 32s under sevs the evidence package shows aftermarket bars that have been passed so they have to be fitted. your workshop may have a different evidence package though. the price for the bars is on the high side, but not extreme. good bars probably cost them between $100 and $200 each, and there is a fair bit of labour in fitting them. tyres is just like razor said. with the parts well yes they have to be removed (and replaced with standard parts) for compliance so yeah, not much you can do about that. -

you are a freakin genius. I also notice if I use the link you posted (it works I can see what feedback I have left) but if I click on the 'return to beer barons feedback' link I get the 404 not found again. so that link must be broken too. -
B Pillar Floor Brace
Beer Baron replied to DaGr81's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
passengers can use them to dislodge bits of dirt stuck to their shoes. or if you are in law enforcement you could use it as an achorage point for leg restraints. apart from that they are almost as usefull as tits on a bull. -
i dunno, lots of track use shags a car in ways most can only imagine. parts you don't even know exist get worn out. on the other hand it has lots of good gear on it. and on the third hand this one is a Vpsec which definately adds some value and exclusivity. I think I'd probably go for the vspec.
-
if you want the lowest possible boost just turn it off. then make your hi boost either the lo or hi setting on the controller and just turn on the controller when you want higher boost. done.

I don't have that problem, but I do have a problem which is I cannot see what feedback I have left for other people (and I also can't see what feedback other people have left their trades). -
just buy it you weak fag so i can kick your ass in my GTR and laugh at your gay wheels. yeah you heard me bum burgler. sounds good to me. if the body is straight, and it's a Vspec then $25K is not unreasonable to pay. the engine bay in particular looks very clean.

going from GTST bonnet to GTR bonnet, or carbon bonnet will save about 10kg. yes you can bin the retractable lower lip, and there is usually a switch to put it up and down manually. rear seats do not weigh too much. maybe 10kg total. front guards are not that heavy but of course fibreglass ones are lighter. take out the front passenger seat if you're not using it. they are closer to 20kg.

I have these spare rotors lying around. Now that I've switched to Brembos I can't use them anymore. they are 297mmX18mm standard size R32 GTR rear rotors. They are the RDA slotted rotors. I thought they were fronts, but when the box was opened it turns out they are rears. I'm after $200 for the pair. They are definately the right size for BNR32 GTR and R32 GTST (Type M) and I'm pretty sure they are the same for R33 GTST too. only really interested in pick-up as I'm not too keen on lugging these to the PO, and the postage would be pretty hard core too. no pics yet, but they are brand new. They have been taken out of their boxes and handled a bit but that's it.

Sick Of Owning A Modified Car And The Associated Hassle
Beer Baron replied to MANWHORE's topic in New South Wales
oh, and I have owned and driven modified japanese improts for close to 6 or 7 years now. I have never been unfairly harrassed for no good reason. actually once I was pulled over and treated pretty badly/rudely. that was about 5 years ago and no tickets were writted. the worst treatment I've ever had was about 4 years ago and I was driving a BA falcon... -

lol is this a trick question? you worry about your loud exhaust all the time and it's hampering your enjoyment of the car. well it would be fairly wise then to fit a quieter exhaust wouldn't it? problem solved. -
... so is reading peoples posts. nice photos too daikoku is a bit hit and miss. I've been there quite a few times now and sometimes it's awesome, sometimes it's not. and yes, you only forget your tripod once !

Is Champ Car Broadcast On Free To Air In Aust?
Beer Baron replied to Smurf's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
basically the info in that thread is: danica patrick loves a good foot stomping tanty. tanty sounds like panty. ivan would like to see danica drive a stick shift. I don't know my arse from my elbow or my champ car from my IRL. All I know is one of them is on fox and it's the one with all the andrettis, and danica etc in it. and yes sometimes they turn left and right in the same race! -
c'mon give us a bit of a breather. "tearing open the establishment and their ideals"??? lol where's that barf smiley when I need it. own up, did you type that one handed...

Hi guys, I'm selling my fujitsu lifebook. It was bought brand new in singapore in december last year and cost around $3500. I have the notebook, the power supply, an optional carry case, all the manuals, and all the software. It comes with Windows XP Pro, MS Office Pro and the latest Norton Anti-virus. It's an awesome notebook. Perfect for travelling etc as it's so small and light. It's barely been used since bought. Actually my mum bought it but the screen was too small for her, so she went back to her magnesium sony vaio with a bigger screen. I rarely need to use a laptop at all, but I also have another one so I don't need 2. I'm asking $2350. Condition is excellent. I would say it's like new. here is the spec: Fujitsu Lifebook ultra portable notebook (Black) Intel Pentium M Centrino 1.2GHz, 2Mb L2 Cache 400MHz FSB Windows XP Pro Microsoft Office Pro Norton Anti-virus and internet security and personal firewall 11inch Super Fin wide XGA TFT (1280X768 res) Dual Layer DVD Multi writer 1 Gig DDR2 Ram (can upgrade to 2 gig) Bluetooth V1.2 8 hour battery life!!! 1.2kg weight!!! 80gb HD (partitioned 50/50) HiDef Audio (inc built in speakers and built in microphone - great for skype etc) also has mic in and audio out and line out built in 56K V.90 modem Ethernet card built in Intel Pro Wireless A/B/G built in with dual atenna built in fingerprint scanner Anit theft locking things PC Card type II slot, SD slot, mem stick slot and smart card support 3 X USB 2.0 ports VGA Out (for use with monitor or projectors etc) S-Video out HD audio in and out Plus it's made in Japan so is of top quality. It was registered for world wide warranty when purchased so it still has plenty of warranty left. It's won lots of awards in the last year too. A great ultra portable notebook. some pics from fujitsu. I'll get some pics of the actual unit later, but it's basically in as new condition.

it's borderline. personally I'd say that's a little too lean. not much margain for safety being that lean.
