  1. lol, the poor old GTR would go through that much just in fuel!! but yeah, I say have the fun. blow it up, or do a pre-emptive strike and replace it now with either a highflow or a GT-RS or something similar.
  2. haha, now you're speaking my language doodz! nice one. i lol'd.
  3. from those pics neither the front or rear are sticking out at all. I was running 17X9 +30 all round with 235s all round on my 32 GTST and never had a problem. and they stuck out more that yours for sure.
  4. i say just replace it or else go for broke and run it at 1 bar. i mean a second hand 33 turnbo is worth $200-$400 tops. it's probably the cheapest possible thing you could ever brake on a skyline.
  5. am I the only one old enough to remember the twinings ad? another cup of.... yes please!
  6. well a little update. I bit the bullet and got some timesert steel inserts put into my 34 brembo front calipers. and I can confirm 100% the thread on 32 GTR bolts is 12X1.25 and 34 brembos are 14X1.5. The steel inserts are a good idea. much stronger than helicoils and probably even better than the original thread cut out of the alloy. now I just need to get my discs back so I can put them on
  7. turbo light is pretty ordinary. I wouldn't personally use it in a car I care about.
  8. what type of pistons are with the kit? cooling channel or non-cooling channel? also did you order with valve reccess cut into the pistons or without? also does it come with bearings?
  9. yes, where did you guys get these poor fitting adapters from. I'm sure many of us could benefit from your hard bought wisdom! Greg, that looks nice.
  10. all I think of when I see that pic is: another cup of....... yes please.
  11. very sad, and also a re-post. it happened over a week ago.
  12. when I installed my defi's I just turfed the factory map sensor, and put the defi in it's place. killed 2 birds with one stone. it gave me an easy place to mount the new sensor, and obiously the vacum line is already running there to the right spot.
  13. yeah go the 90 livery! even hunt down some of those hideous disk wheels they were running.
  14. yeah, only if it's no big hassle. I have some new manifolds for the GTR and thinking I may coat them before fitting. thanks mate.
  15. well the blue one with chromies was the one that was trying to be a hero on the grass area. but there were plenty of other morons who thought they would show us all how cool they were once onto the concrete.
  16. well I've gone from buying a car, to having it on the round in around 8-10 weeks. so that includes shipping, clearance, comlpiance, rego right through to enjoyment. I've had some take longer than that but I would say 2-3 months is the norm from purchase in japan, to driving it registered on the road. 8 months is insane though!
  17. what state are you in? for instance if you are in vic then it would make more sense to send it to racepace than say sub zero.
  18. sounds good. can I ask what power (rwkw) it's putting out? and at what boost level? thanks.
  19. yeah both you guys have hoses that just replaces the last bit. the hose in the first post goes (as dave said) all the way from slave to master.
  20. well I have learnt the hard way before that the cusco part number are usually different for a reason. it may be only small changes, but something is different. cusco make and sell very nice 32 GTR upper arms. I use them.
  21. yeah, there is no doubt lack of reliability and a poor descision (on MS's part) at monaco cost schuey the WDC last year not. that was what beat him. not a 'better' driver.
  22. yeah, it was a nice move. but it could not have been pulled off without the nice cooperation of nick. had nick not yielded and taken the escape it would have been over for them both. so yeah it was bold, but it wasn't that great as without nick letting the baby have his bottle it would have ended in a "Taku special". the fact that nick got past him again also means it was all for nought. I just don't rate alonso. he has the best car in the field so it's no surprise he is beating all the other teams. but the fact that his rookie teamate is beating him tells me alonso is not that special at all. he has been fortunate to be in the right teams at the right times with good car, good engineers, plenty of reliability.
  23. all it proved to me is that i'm right, and alonso is a hack. sure he made plenty of moves, but where did that get him? and how many actually came off? not many. good work kimi. nice race. and what a change to see they actually let kimi pass massa. I was shocked. not a very good strategic move for the WDC.
  24. 440cc Injectors - 440HP (or around 280rwkw) Standard GTR AFM's - will hit the max 5.115v at around 260rwkw R33 Fuel pump - change it when you change the injectors. Standard Rods - xxxHP Standard Crank - xxxHP Standard pistons - xxxHP Standard block - xxxHP Oil pump limits - xxxHP Standard R33 Cams - xxxHP the other parts you mention don't really have a power rating. it depends on application, tuning, driver, support sytems etc as to how long they can live.
  25. R.B. Boy = done beets = done simon-ae86 = done gtr lm = done Sh@un are you serious?
