Greatest F1 Driver Of All Time?
Beer Baron replied to Kozeyekan's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
that's rubbish. most of those comparisons have no finite measure. comparing drivers has some very simple measures. wins, podiums, points, poles, championships. schuey is at the top of them all. sure you could argue some drivers had more talent, but didn't have the right car or team. or had their careers cut short or whatever. but schuey is the number 1 F1 driver. no doubt about it. -
Police Operations To Stop Modified Vehicles!
Beer Baron replied to Spunky Munky's topic in General Automotive Discussion
well I can't remember what the tolerance is in nsw but it's thanfully way more than 3km/h. and half our camera boxes don't have camera's in them, and those that do only work half the time, and they are all massive, and signposted so it's pretty rare for anyone to get pinned by one. what we have to watch out for is cops hiding in bushes with hand-held devices, and unmarked cars fitted with them too. -
Pair Of R32 Gtr Seats
Beer Baron replied to phatlavish's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I know these seats and can confirm that appart from the little burn in the passenger seat they are both quite nice, and the padding is still very firm (many 32 seats have the padding gone all soft). The drivers seat is especially good condition. -
what about murphy? he had a pretty nice go at the officials after the safety car picked him up rather than letting him go around and join the back of the queue still on the lead lap.

i can't understand how xbox overheats anyway. i mean the main heatsourse (power supply) is external (and massive and ugly). the PS3 runs an internal PS and still doens't seem to suffer any overheating issues, and it's fans are very quiet.

Edit Personal Information
Beer Baron replied to D_I_F's topic in Site discussion - including Ideas/Feedback & Bugs
you have to put in your birthday now. I know it's gay. I never had mine in and everything was fine, but once you make a change it sees the empty birthday field and forces you to put one in. I just made up a fakie. -
yeah TKelly move in race two was f**ked. being that agressive with his senior teamate should have earnt him a nice backhander in the pits. although having loaded parents probably spares him any such punishment and means he carrys on with no respect for anyone.

up to 15psi variance from the highest to the lowest is acceptable. 5-10 psi variance is 'desirable' though. figures above 135psi for the lowest is important. expect a healthy engine to be around 14-150 and variance of not more than 10 from lowest to highest. don't worry too much about the outright numbers as peoples test procedures are not always the same (hot engine V cold engine, strong battery? strong starter? how much throttle?, type of gauge?, how many cranks? etc) and all those things will affect the figures.

Re-register Unreg Car
Beer Baron replied to Proximity Motorsport's topic in General Automotive Discussion
what state are you in? anyway, regardless the only people who can properly answer this question is the registration authority in the state you are in. call them and ask so you get a proper answer. -
Belgarage Broken In To - 5 Cars Stolen - ***OLD THREAD***
Beer Baron replied to ATTN's topic in New South Wales
dodgey fcks may be the same folk that have my car. now that would be nice. the thing that shits me is the idiots that keep these tossers in business. if people didn't buy hot cars and parts then these wankers wouldn't have 2 cents to rub together and may consider earning their money like everyone else. -
nice! That thai car is nuts. their track looks pretty hairy too. interesting that they are still using a profec B II to control that much boost and such a massive turbo

Belgarage Broken In To - 5 Cars Stolen - ***OLD THREAD***
Beer Baron replied to ATTN's topic in New South Wales
thank god for that. any more info? I was a victim of car theft in the last year and it's no picnic. I hope they get all the fkers involved. -
this has given me an idea. providing they physically fit, could I put twin (or even just 1) zirconia type 02 sensor into my 32 GTR, then have someone with datalogit skills fix it up so it will work properly with my RB26 and RB26 PFC? because the genuine titania R32 GTR 02 sensors are $350 each and I don't know of any proper aftermarket replacement.

Old Group A (actually probably mostly group N) GTRs at fuji speedway. The main straight and pit complex at Fuji Speedway. the cars run from the right to left of this pic. Super GT in action. the sound is awesome at Fuji as the whole place is like a natural ampitheatre being surrounded by mountain and in the shadow of Fuji-san. a neat R34 in the carpark A crazy S14 Silvia with full R34 conversion. looks pretty cool in real life. Inside the cabin of a Super GT race car. Crazy cockpits in these things. Campaign girls on stage at Fuji speedway behind the grandstand. the old calsonic R33 GTR GT car. very cool looking car. It seems that japanese pimps go to the Super GT too.

ok this is pretty much the only thing I did in Hiroshima, and to be honest I don't have the stomach for the war museum etc, plus I was on there as I had to change shinkansen at hiroshima station and had a few hours to kill, but I definately want to go back to this place: If you love okonomiyaki then it's a must do. Here is the Hiroshima style Okonomiyaki I had for Dinner in Hiroshima at a place called Okono-mura (Okonomiyaki Town). It's a building and all floors are filled with shops making Okonomiyaki. That's it. Beer too. Hirsohima style is the type with noodles on the bottom (it's my favourite style of Okonomiyaki).

haha, don't pick on me you bad man! I'm just a poor noob with shaky hands and a lowly canon 400D! ok some more pics. these next few post are November 2006 First one is a view from a hotel in central Chiba. Chiba is known as home to some of the most enthusiastic wangan racers made famous by option vids (smoky nagata, chiba-kun etc). massive row of vending machines running parallel to the train line near Chiba JR station. This is all you can eat Shabu-Shabu in Roppongi. It's all you can drink too, so of course I get the waitresses to bring a few long necks at a time. from memory it's 3,000 yen all you can drink, and about 9,000 all you can eat (for the prime japanese beef, yankee beef is cheaper). Of course we always eat too much. a nice ferrari outside roppongi hills shopping mall. typical of the calibre of traffic in this area. This sign is on the freeway which runs over the top of Roppongi Crossing. Funny place, Funny slogan. Probably the most packed coi pond I've seen in japan (and believe me i've seen plenty!). This one was in Asakusa (big tourist spot for both foreign and japanese people). same pond, wider angle. I forget the japanese name for these lanterns, but they are just outside the shrine at Asakusa. This is a bridge just near Asahi headquarters. the view over Asakusa from the top floor bar at Asahai headquarters. nice. Asahi headquarters in Asakusa, complete with golden poo.

that sucks mate. bad news. assuming that you have comprehensive insurance just make the claim and let them sort it out. and be thankfull they didn't steal them.
-
why not contact the places you mentioned and ask them their price. then it's simple maths. one will be cheaper than the rest.
-
yeah cool car, but damn shame they made it auto. I would love to hear what an NA 26 sounds like.
-
no it doesn't. you can option one on it for about $400 but I would just buy a stand alone one. give us an idea of budget here.
