  1. Black cars are great for the hour they stay clean. Snapped some shots today: IMG_4780 by 89CAL, on Flickr IMG_4784 by 89CAL, on Flickr IMG_4825 by 89CAL, on Flickr
  2. Canada GP To bad they're in a stupid time zone No love lost between Kimi and Perez Could be interesting
  3. Standard they will run rich. 7 are colder plugs and no point going colder if you are running rich. Is it std ECU? Try doing a reset on the ECU if so. It takes next to no time and sometimes is all that is wrong
  4. Jez can come tune my car. Ill even pay The Link is a bit more complex than the Power FC it seems
  5. I've always thought the rear bar was one piece and the pods are just add on, but im not so sure now..... Mine has GTR N1 pods (AFAIK) and looks like this:
  6. only driver, There would need to be a weight sensor in the passanger seat for it to work otherwise the seatbelt light would always be on. There is a plug for it under the seat but dont think it plugs in anywhere
  7. Saw the interview with someone from lotus who said the surface is less harsh on tyres then previous races. Brakes are a bigger issue but technology has comefar enough in that area that its manageable
  8. Full boost at initial crank? I shall try this
  9. And I think with a turbo added this will decrease spool time, I should be hitting full boost at about idle
  10. No.. Not as abrasive and it doesnt have the amount of high speed corners as the other tracks so far. Mostly slower speed chicanes and hairpins etc. Hard braking areas though
  11. I would assume that the seatbelt buckle has 2 contacts on either side, and when the seatbelt clicks in it completes the circuit. Because the light has been off mostly, I would assume it might have shorted to ground somewhere before the seatbelt buckle. This is if my assumption about how the circuit works is correct. Otherwise the seatbelt may push a switch down inside the buckle which would be a normally closed circuit in which case you would be looking for a broken wire pre or post switch Pull the plug under the seat and check both wires (I''m pretty sure its a 2 pin plug) With the car on, one should have power and no ground, the other should have ground and no power. If its a 1 pin plug then it should have power at the wire and no ground and it must ground through the buckle and seat rail so check there is a good earth from the seat buckle bolt/nut to a good chassis earth This is all assumptions remember, Hopefully helps. Good place to start anyway, as the plug is easy enough to get to and you dont have to pull things apart
  12. Ah yeah can see now, have never seen one out of the car, assumed they were the same as the mitsu units. All good
  13. RB30 Heads for everyone! I'm cheaping out, I'm just taking 1 cam out of mine
  14. O.K, I'm confused. The bit that comes out of the CAS that spins, this whole thing is wobbling? or just the end? If so it must be different to the Mitsubishi CAS becuase it is one piece out of the unit
  15. The shaft that slots into the cam? It shouldnt wobble. Sounds like the bearing has failed. The hitachi CAS' can be pulled apart a bit easier to have a look then the mitsubishi ones (like in 33's) from memory
  16. He was joking. It wont work on stock ecu and wont gain you anything anyway. They measure air flow and your engine will not be flowing anywhere near enough to need a Z32
  17. Ihave HID high and low beam both 4300k, just went a more expensive rapid start kit for the high beams. Miles better visibility then halogen globes. So it can be done and does work Dont really get flashed either. Have them setup pretty well but
  18. Might go back to playing MW2 if theres still some online play left in it. Still my favourite COD in a long time
  19. I would. I need to learn some more
  20. What oil did you use? Hows yoyr clutch fluid? Keep in mine it absorbs moisture pretty nicely so does degrade over time. Wouldnt hurt to change and bleed the clutch lines/cylinders Start there anyway.
  21. Easiest way is off a GP output then put your desired parameters (Rpm>1100, tps> 5% or whatever) I forget which digital output it is but it is shown in the help section somewhere (in the wiring section) Hope this makes sense. Im going from memory.
  22. Really? Everyone must have had a poor round? I put nothing in at all lol.
  23. Its a bit unfair for merc to test in season. Even if they didnt gain any data etc from perelli (im sure they would have though) then its still 'x' amount of extra laps and experience on the tires. Im not sure if the merc test driver did the test or the race drivers, but either way still valuable
