  1. So this is going to take a while?
  2. Might give that a go after work. I tried with kies on Wednesday and nothing happened. The messaging in ics looks a lot better But as for SAU, still the same. full version till I navigate away from the main forum page and press mobile version
  3. I'll finally be buying a turbo off you around July so ill see where your at with FNT and VNT designs of the G3 then. VNT sounds like it will be great if its a reality that soon
  4. What numbers do you think an FNT G3 would achieve?
  5. No go. its quite strange before the site update it always went to the mobile site through my bookmark Did you put ics 4.0 on your phone with odin? I'm waiting for the Telstra release which is in the next week or two
  6. I don't have that mobile view option in my settings (galaxy s2)..... Same as above, can browse in mobile but next time I open the bookmark to SAU goes back to full version and I have to go to a section then press mobile version before it will work (pressing mobile version on the main section of the forum just re-loads the full version :S)
  7. Was the Trust/Greddy pump i saw cheap, the JUN wasnt to bad off nengun but then I gotta pay for it to get shipped over http://www.kudosmotorsports.com/catalog/trust-greddy-oil-pump-trust-greddy-nissan-skyline-r32-gtr-r33-gtr-r34-gtr-rb26dett-p-1018.html
  8. The gates racing belts are pretty well known to be louder then the standard/some other timing belts. I have a Dayco timing belt and it hasnt made a noise since I put it in, but i know alot of people with the gates belts experience the whirring noise I dont think its a serious issue, just a bit of noise, and after the belt wears in a bit it goes away From what I know about it anyway, its fairly well documented on this site, just search timing belt noise or gates timing belt, something along those lines
  9. Ceramic Clicking sound? It all depends on how loose the belt got and if it started slipping teeth. Sounds like you might have tapped the valves on the pistons a bit if it was macking clicking/ticking noises, but hard to know for sure. I'd probably pull the head off and have a look or get a borescope or whatever those camera on a stick things are and poke it down the spark plug holes and see if you can see any damage on the pistons You could turn the engine over by hand and see if it still turns O.K if you didnt want to do any of that, but then you risk hitting the pistons again or putting the belt further out of position.
  10. O.K I'm after opinions on oil pumps for my car Keeping in mind its mainly street driven, although I would like to take it to the drags a bit more and maybe one day go for a few laps of Willobank Pump options: Jun, N1 + Billet Gears, Trust/Greddy, Nitto, Standard with billet gears. Oil control: Rear head drain only, Rear Head Drain + oil restrictors (size? dependant on pump as well I guess), or just oil restrictors Theres to many different opinions and Ideas on here to decide so after peoples opinions. I dont want to spend rediculous money, its not a race car, but at the same time I dont want to cheap out.
  11. NPC do resonably priced clutches, not 'cheap' but they do last well. Give them a call and tell them what you want and they should be able to supply you with a clutch Mine was about $760 but its a bit more extreme then what your looking for (by the sounds of it) If you have a twin plate though, you might need a new flyhweel if your going back to a single plate
  12. How do you not like the way it drives? I have an NPC Single plate in mine that has a soft pedal feel but pretty harsh engagement (button) and I like it, but i get the feeling thats not what your after?
  13. Get the multimeter out and start checking everything. Check you dont have a short to ground or a short to another wire/circuit. If you have changed/added anything then check the circuits around where you've done that for any shorts etc.
  14. Stao develops and produces them from scratch. send your turbo to him if you want it highflowed etc
  15. Eagerly awaiting results for this. Been tossing up between SS2 and G3 since we spoke but I'll watch how this devolps, VNT sounds like it will be pretty unreal to drive with. Keep up the good work Stao
  16. Can you just get someone to tune it? Might be all it needs rather then chasing something more complicated
  17. I just remembered hearing something about American fuel not being as good. but if that's the case then scrap that idea Maybe it wasn't as good as Jap fuel, but that's no different to here anyway
  18. either way if he is getting a nistune it should help the problem. To OP, what sort of fuel is available over there? perhaps that has something to do with it as well? I'm not 100% sure, but I think the Nth American fuel is not overly fantastic. Perhaps the combination of the mods and a poor octane rated fuel is causing the problems. Just a thought anyway. Nistune should be a goer
  19. Had the clutch for nearly 2 years now, all good so far
  20. ahh I'm an idiot lol, whoops
  21. Just starting to get busy for us
  22. Diff mount bushes if you have any sort of axle tramp! I had horrible axle tramp, bought coilovers to fix it, didnt help. Put subframe collars in, helped slightly. Put diff bushes (both front and rear) and the car launches so nice and flat now. Other then that as above, I'm pretty sure super pro do an enhancement kit as suggested, I know pedders and whiteline do. Just check out the websites to get an idea, all the bushes are listed on there
  23. NPC Twin plate Talking to a mate the other night who has one, he reakons its the best clutch he's ever used. I'm half kicking myself I didnt just get one from the start, but oh well, I'll see how long the 10" single plate lasts. So far its been great but
  24. Oh I thought they always went off frequency and putting a resistor in wouldnt work..... Well I take it back then lol
  25. Yeah I was saying that the ECU's are sensetive and little changes can make them go crazy. And I was also getting at the fact that putting resistors in place of the knock sensors may be causing problems. Either plug them directly into the knock sensors or run nothing at all, but your computer will always see knock = 0
