  1. I would suggest going some more modern injectors. Go top Feed ID's or something. My tuner hates that I have Nismo's, to me the car runs perfect but he reakons he could get it a whole lot sweeter with some ID's etc in there
  2. Injectors and rail fit fine, minor mods need to be made to the rail piping in some cases I told you, there is a thread on here somewhere that shows you everything you need to do. Very in depth, and very detailed
  3. Yeah all good, I just wonder why there is the odd Power FC for 34 that seems to have this issue, but it cant be too much of an issue or the forum would be littered with threads about it and alot more answers. Not sure what the go is, but if the stock computer works fine and the Power FC doesnt, it seems very likely that there is a problem with that specific Power FC And spark plug gaps, as said, dont make any difference at all. They may make a difference in power output, but wont log faults etc
  4. Kimi may have raced with a cracked chassis in Bahrain apparently. The Ferrari's were still basically nowhere but, bit disappointing And I cant believe Maldonado only gets a 5 place Penalty for his own stupid driving and Dan got a 10 place penalty for the teams fault. I think it should be a fine for the team not the driver in situations like that. At least Maldonado has proved he is just an ATM. Wonder if he still thinks 'Lotus was the best move' Must be nice to know a team only wanted you for your money lol. It is a bit sad to see Romain at the back but. And I still like Lotus as a team.
  5. As an FYI for this thread, here is the Fuel pump control wiring circuit:
  6. No the plugs are different.
  7. Do you have the hand controller for the Power FC? If so you can check a few things like how your TPS is behaving and if you have any sensor or switch problems From memory the other person experiencing these issues had no problems but with the sensors etc. Not sure if TPS voltage might be too low on closed throttle, should be about .45V - .55V from memory Surely it isn't a problem with Power FC's in general if they are made for the 34, which all came with T/C (I think?)
  8. I pulled my hicas out and left the HICAS ECU in and the car has been fine power steering wise for years up until when I just changed the engine and from powet fc to link. Now the power steering proportional solenoid works alot of the time but then sometimes doesnt work at all. I say just pull the HICAS out and then see how it goes. If it plays up then you can just rip the HICAS ECU out and put 12v to the power steering solenoid (which I think is explained in the thread linked above) Im pretty close to doing this at the moment
  9. Neither are any better then the other. S2 just have the inbuilt ignitors and s1 have the external ignitor. Get whatever will suit your car now
  10. I think they are quite pricey, so brace for that
  11. Possibly. But I dont understand if he was so sure it was lifters from day 1, why not just go to engine builder or take out/swap lifters from the start I had a lifter on my VL shatter part of the head off (they are a top hat looking lifter) and it had horrible lifter tick. So I pulled them out to see what the problem was, found a rather large part of lifter near a cam lobe. Replaced lifters and put it back together etc and everything was fine, cam still looked like new. But I must have been really lucky
  12. Noisey lifters dont do damage. They are just annoying
  13. Yeah I couldnt believe how loud mine were lol
  14. I like mine because it tidies up the bay so much. Not sure about with a stock computer. It would possibly be either unsafe or too rich and run like a pig anyway. Theres also the question of leaning out the back 2 cylinders. Im not saying it does or doesnt happen but ive got my link g4 adding a bit more fuel to cyls 5 and 6 There is a huge thread about installing one and what you will need. Think it is in the forced induction section anyway
  15. The slip and tc lights seem to be a common problem with the power fc. Someone asked similar questions not long ago. Had the tcs and slip light as well as the check engine lights on with the power fc but nothing with the stock ecu. Not sure if an answer was found
  16. Just seeing who would actually poke their head out lol
  17. Do as suggested. Rev the engine and then when the revs are dropping off throttle and there is no injection occuring that will completly rule out injectors
  18. dump the air? The hose should go pre throttle body so that when the car is idling and throttle is closed, there is a path for the air to get through to allow it to idle
  19. Im about the only one apart from you woth a skyline that runs on here See if that livens things up
  20. Yeah my nismo 740s are alot louder then my old 555s. Sometimes think its lifter tick but everytime I look its injectors I spent ages cleaning my lifters, pressed out the old oil, soaked them in petrol for a few days then washed them in a parts washer. Cleaned all the stuff off then chucked them in oil for about 3 weeks while I was waiting to get the head back (and pumped them to get some oil into them)
  21. This is my turbo for sale if your interested anyway. For Sale thread
  22. The mercedes v6 was one of the first to be shown publicly. I remember seeing the split turbine and compressor housings ages ago, probably near the start of last year so surely the customer teams would have got a look before that
  23. I have a for sale thread somewhere. Chasing $1000 for it, comes with everything from the kit minus the gaskets. Think its in the queensland classifieds. Should be near the top
  24. I have a second hand gt2835kai if you decide you want one.
