  1. Do you mean the Ferrari's are so far off the pace? Might want to look at Malaysia practice. I think it was Ferrari reporting they had good race pace and so far pretty happy with the car On the other hand mercedes reporting elevated tyre wear on longer runs and a little uncertainty over the engine. Im not saying write them off but it looks a bit less likely that they will walk away with it this weekend
  2. Well.... it probably wont effect it to much. Ideally it would be good practice to do it again but I wouldnt bother. Where they are adding weight is close to the centre, and its taking and adding roughly even amounts of weight on opposite sides If you have the money to do it and can wait an extra day to get the crank back then go for it. If not then I think it will make next to no difference
  3. Kimi has made a great improvement in the Ferrari. Mercedes having tyre wear worries Might be an interesting weekend after all
  4. Its just coaxial as far as I know. Find a place that does television antenna cables and talk to someone about a joiner The end that goes into the back of the head unit over here is available from automotive electrical shops but seen as you said things are different over there not so sure. Technically it should be japanese wiring anyway
  5. Holy Shit, I'm suprised it's driveable at all Yes I'd say that is your problem. Do you recall anything that may have done this (bridging plugs etc)? Probably just the Power FC crying enough over age but if it could be something that has caused it on your car, then you need to fix that before replacing the ECU or it will happen again

    How Tight...?

Honestly, its not worth stressing about. I've never used a torque wrench to do mine up. While its a good thing to do, I wouldnt stress if you use a regular size 1/2" Breaker bar and a socket to do them up tight. Not straining on the breaker bar but doing it tight
  7. Theres no pic?
  8. One more before bed, Just been playing with Lightroom, Really like it, so much easier then photoshop, will be better when I'm used to it
  9. Eh not much you can do about the fence lol..... They all look a bit under exposed now that the brightness on my laptop is turned down.... but oh well lol
  10. Thats what I liked about mine. There was no need to carry anything extra, no button, was just (AFAIK) earthing out a circuit to enable the start circuit It was probably just the earth side of the starter signal (from the key) to the screw so it had no earth till you put your hand on the screw and then on the key (grounded through the key switch) then the car would start. If you didnt know where the screw was, the car wouldnt start. BUT this way you could still bridge the solenoid on the starter moter and get it going etc. So its not the best way to do it. But you might be able to do something similiar with the fuel pump circuit. This is just an idea, not sure it would work in a skyline, and it might not be what you are looking for
  11. I didnt know you could get the G4 to kill the engine when certain peramters are out of range? I havent played much with that side of mine, but I couldnt even work out how to get the ECT to bring up a check engine light when it goes over so many degrees lol
  12. I had alot of fun with my camera at F1 this year, doing some tracking shots at low shutter speeds to get some motion in the photos. Its just to hard with fences and roof posts and crap everywhere, but started getting the hang of it. The speed of the F1 cars doesnt help either lol
  13. World Champions Grand stand (turn 3,4 and some of 5)
  14. Finished more photos from F1, Theres a few of them and they are pretty repetative (but what can you do from the same grand stand every day), so sorry in advance
  15. I'll apologise in advance, because I have a fair few of them.....
  16. Well I've half steered it in a forward direction anyway lol Have some more photos from the Aus GP I might put up soon
  17. Lets not be sour about KK's brake failure At least it was Massa not Botas that he took out?
  18. So who's tipping what for the Malaysian GP? I'm quietly thinking Mercedes are going to have an engine failure of some sort, something about Hamiltons interviews since Melbourne make it seem like he/they are not entirely confident with the engine he will be using If Rosberg's has the same potential issue then being the engine that has done more km, there might be a problem with his car Or they might walk away with this one again, who knows. Will get to see some real power comparisons with the long Sepang straights at least. See how the Ferrari stacks up to the Merc, I think the Renault is behind so we will get to see that for sure or not as well Hoping Ferrari have made a step forward, hope Kimi has a better run
  19. If its a 6boost then call or email kyle. Probably best to email him with some photos and give him your number. He might be able to give you an answer or organise an exchange of some sort
  20. I have an ss2 low mounted on a 6boost manifold with no issues. Comp housing is a bit close to the engine mount bracket but no issues at all That manifold is odd. If someone was going to run that sort of manifold with an ext wastegate an ss2 should not be an issue at all. Looks like youd need to have a stock turbo for that to work......
  21. Had a quick look at the wiring diagrams I have. They are for R33 so it may not matter/correspond with the R34 but anyway. there is one connection from the ECU to the A-LSD/ABS (and probably T/C on R34) unit. The outputs to the dash lights comes straight from the A-LSD/ABS ECU so I wonder if the Stock Engine ECU sends a signal to the A-LSD/ABS unit that the Power FC isnt sending. Perhaps a signal to activate power to the unit. So if you take your car for a drive and see if the functions are working. because your slip and T/C lights are on and I'm not sure if this unit is controlling ABS in the R34 (unless you have an ABS or similar light on?) you may have to try and do a burnout. If its not tuned you could try it on the grass . See if the ABS is working as well. Then if possible find the wire from the ECU, unplug the A-LSD/ABS unit and check for a voltage on that pin in the harness plug with the Power FC plugged in and then with the Stock ECU plugged in and see if there is a difference? Sorry I cant tell you where the A-LSD/ABS unit is, what pin you need to look at, and what exactly you need to look for but its a start I guess lol
  22. Strange, I always thought they were a thicker 3x2 shaft on the GTR, but looking now it seems one of the front shafts is like that but the rears are 6x1. There you go lol
  23. It's really hard to diagnose noises over the internet. But I would suggest looking at the coilover and camber arms. Check the lower mount on the coilover has been installed right. I'm not sure on the Stagea's but on my 33 there is a larger spacing on one side of the mount then the other so it can only go on one way or the coilover may rub. What sort of mounts/joints do the camber arms have?
  24. f**k. Like I said, NOONE in here is going to decide what the outcome is. Its pointless arguing like this..... Just wait till the f**king appeal and then everyone will know
