  1. Were they dowie washers (steel with rubber inside)? You really need to look at the mating surfaces on the banjo amd pump hosing for any defects, scratches, or debris
  2. Have you measured resistance through the solenoid coil? Should be resonably low. I was pretty sure the solenoid was normally closed so if you are getting less then desired boost then it seems a bit weird. If the solenoid was wrecked it would boost till things exploded. What are your boost settings? Do you hit boost cut at all when you put your foot down?
  3. Do you think its going to get a signal when it has negative pressure? The solenoid default is normally closed, so no voltage when normally closed. With the car in vacuum its not going to want to be opening the solenoid. Im not suprised there is no voltage there Have you tried driving the car and seeing if it works? Remember if you have it set to 7 psi then it will cut out if it goes to around 9-10 psi so you dont need to worry too much about overboosting
  4. I wouldnt expect the solenoid to be recieving voltage when the engine is not running
  5. No worries, just thought id ask
  6. It could be the AFM. If you can get a hold of one to borrow and try out I would do that If the plugs are fine, the fuel is good and the injectors are firing right (and arent dribbling fuel etc) then it could be AFM it could also be a boost/vac leak. Do you have an atmo bov?
  7. You have loosened the bolt right? I know its silly but it was real easy on the two RB25's ive done it on. Never had any issue with the crank pulley
  8. Yeah I decided to go get it rather then wait for peoples opinions lol. Big W had it for $74 so was pretty happy with that Was worried PS4 games were going to be around $110 to start with so pretty happy they are about what ps3 games were just before ps4 came out Anyway, enjoying infamous so far, seems like they have made a big step forward. Didnt play infamous 2 but the first one was good fun
  9. Quick question, and I know its not really completely on topic. But is the supplier able to do boot struts as well? Ive been looking around and can only get them at a decent price from the UK, which is ok but just thought id ask the question here
  10. Infamous is out today, whos got It and how is it?

    Insurance Scheme

Low blow..... lol I was looking at insurance on mid size 6/4 cylinder sedans so maybe thats why it was cheaper
  12. Have you tried anything? Checked the plus arent fouled? Check you are running on all cylinders? Check all injectors are firing? Whats the condition of the fuel (old/poor quality)?
  13. Pretty common issue. It can be done but must be spot on. As you said the teeth engage the CAS and the halfmoon just locates it so it will still work without the half moon. My suggestion is to get some loctite (or similarly good) superglue and stick the half moon back into position then install the CAS. The superglue should hold it well enough to get the CAS on. Start the car and check base timing to make sure its right

    Insurance Scheme

NRMA is about thr cheapest for most things now. They used to be pricey Or at least they were cheap when I looked for insurance for my next car
  15. I imagine it would be worse on the straights, but where I was at turns 3/4 it didnt seem as bad. I miss the scream of the V8's but was cool hearing the turbo whistle etc when they accelerated out of 3 then backed out into 4. Bit of turbo flutter for some of the cars to I'd rather the V8's because they are a bit more special. But I can live with the V6 noise because I think the racing is still good

    Insurance Scheme

I was thinking about ringing them anyway. Im a bit over just cars and thought they might be fairly good to me because of my driving history and rating 1 etc. Will just have to see what they say. Id like to go NRMA but dont think they will do it. Might also be worth calling them as well. When I get my new car thats most likely who ill go with unless whoever insures the skyline can do a good multi car policy Thanks for your help anyway

    Insurance Scheme

Quick question on Just Car. I've been with them for about 6 years now and I did have optional extras on there (Think I just had Mags and stereo + exhaust and a few engine mods) but this year they have disappeared but my premium has stayed the same. Do you just have to list things you want covered or do you just have to list everything to make the insurance policy valid? I was just going to ring them up and ask them but seen as this thread is here, I'd rather ask someone here who is going to be honest/speak from experience etc. Thanks guys BTW, my details are like this: Just Car Insurance R33 GTS-t 1994. Agreed Value: $10,800 (from memory) Annual premium: $663 Rating 1 with Rating 1 protection
  21. Have you got the part number?
  22. Exhaust restrictions? They come straight out of the turbo out a pipe thats less then a metre long. The turbo is whats making them quiet
  23. Bernie wants them to be loud..... I read an article about how he is doing all he can to bring some noise back into the sport not long after I posted before The blame is with the FIA from what I can tell They need to bring back re-fueling, stop banning/changing aero rules and fix the engine problem
  24. WTB - GTR Badges Need at least 4, one for every side of the car
