  3. I've done plugs recently. So that leaves coils and TPS. I read the "tape your coils" thread, so i'll give that a try. What are the possibilities it's the TPS?
  4. R33 rims are light. Get some decent rubber on the rear and pump to 22psi. A little smokeshow will help traction
  5. WTF? Plastic intercooler?
  6. I'd go the Ozzy wheel or one off the SSR page. If you want race looks go a darker wheel (gunmetal/shadow) with your black R32. If you want classy style (for a Skyline) go silver/chrome (keep chrome conservative IMO) Deep-dish will also make the 32 FATTT If you want rice, go white.
  7. My R33 came with a Kenwood GPS + TV touch screen head unit...but it doesn't do anything! It came with a Jap CD that has maps on it...and i've been asking around to see if theres ANYTHING i can play on it. I don't think it does DVD's but i hope i can at least get TV out of it.
  8. That's a good time. Are you planning to go quicker?
  9. What about an air leak?
  10. My R33 came with one (hehe) so i can't tell how effective it is...but i know it's probably extended the life of my engine mounts and also firms up the engine when i'm turning hard. It helps balance out (only slightly) the engine and nose-end handling. They're not that expensive and look good.
  11. I'd recommend coilovers, but you want it done cheap... You can buy smaller springs but don't go too small because the shocks won't be able to make a full stroke- resulting in a very bumpy ride. Your current suspension has been made that size on purpose so i personally would replace with another purpose-made product. What about second-hand coilovers? What about a full bodykit? That will make it look lower.
  12. You're going to love Oz my friend Hope to catch you at the Dyno day, i'll look for the guy WITHOUT a tan
  13. I remember your S15 You said you were cut about selling the Skyline...i don't blame you lol. Nice ride though, very Tokyo drift
  14. I haven't got advice but what i can say is what an awesome thread Love to see you power freaks splitting hairs across the globe, keeps the forum interesting and innovative
  15. Hmmm, an R35 as cheap as $45,000 by 2013? Approx. 70% depreciation, equating to roughly $21,000 a year? That's impossible for anything other than a damaged example.
  16. I'll be there, not sure if i'll run it though.
  17. Nismo will DEFINITELY want to TUNE an R35 to CAPITALISE on the tidal wave of it's popularity. They're going to have an international consumer pool, many of them fat Americans with heavy pockets. A Z-tune, or whatever they will call it, is as likely to be built as mammals need to breathe. They'll also want to have a hand in adding art to engineering beauty.

  19. While idling the engine 'blips', just a lumpy idle really. I did a bit of research and found it could be a problem with the RB25 throttle position sensor. Is there a connection? I cleaned my AAC valve and AFM but didn't fix anything. Any advice?
  20. You're right, but something inside just tells me "but there's more to it than that..." It's be unfair if the RB was stronger than 2JZ...the only fans Toyota would have would be mums dropping the kids off every morning Supra = cheap drag car GTR = out-of-the-box circuit monster
  21. You all soh sirry. Skyrine and Sooprah bose very good cahs.
  22. Don't worry, they'll be conVRted soon enough...
  23. Do you know if there's any benefit from changing to a GTR prop shaft? Personally i wouldn't change the stock one, it can take a fair bit of power.
  24. Ok this is a joke. The driver should never be allowed to get a licence, seeing as she suffers post-traumatic stress syndrome. What's this 3 year ban BS? She could be out there in 3 years ramming bus stop lines again, trying to find the indicator. Obviously in this case she packed it and hit the wrong pedal. She used her sydnrome as the reasoning why she can't drive for bollocks in dangerous situations, such as navigating a turn. A girl died, old man lost a leg, and others injured. Leave the instructor, he tried to stop her- she accelerated! She's the problem!

    I'm In Denial!

The inline-6 in Ford's F6 Typhoon makes 550nm of torque out of 4L displacement. That's more than any production engine to ever come from Australia. Even Ford US shat when they saw it. The VR38 with 3.8L makes 587nm of max torque. There are many engine architecture factors that would contribute to torque figures, but these numbers say a lot for the inline-6 i'd say.
