  1. Another disappointment. Hell, even i wanna get the f**k outtah Syd. 2 kinds of ppl rule this city: 1. The have's-->own much more than we'll ever dream, part of exclusive social circles (so F**K off if you're poor), look down on everyone else because they can't help it. 2. The have nots-->are jealous of have's. Have nothing to lose and will steal what they can't own. More an act of social empowerment, as oppose to actually needing to steal. Well i'm neither of the aforementioned, so But i'm taking the R33 with me.
  2. I just had my leaking manifold repaired. Problem was low boost from low rpms. Once i put the boot in it was hard to notice because there was lots of pressure and i made the 11psi my boost controller was set to. Manifold leak (depending how severe) shouldn't cause high rpm boost loss. Like all the fellas said, it's normal for your setup to lose 2-3psi.
  3. Clean the intercooler with carbie cleaner. I did it to an R33 smic and got an extra 2psi. I was surprised. Removing and cleaning the cooler is extra necessary if you haven't got a catch can- oil buildup inside the cooler reduces it's ability to transfer heat from the charge. Get the gloves out!
  4. What about improving ventilation around the smic? Like creating more airflow through bumper and undertray mods. I think cutting some small holes in the cover behind the smic will help with heatsoak. What about insulation (i.e. heat tape/wrap) to keep heat away from the smic? I reckon these will, at the LEAST, slow heatsoak down. The water spray is good, but i reckon is more finicky.

  6. Seriously the R35 is causing so much ejaculation in Oz. Too bad Holden/Ford can't do it like Nissan. And they're local, they have it too easy. The bonnet looks bent outta whack. Maybe the crew aboard the ship already had a few quickies on it

  14. Front bar mods remind me of previous GTRs. The air ducts in front of the radiator especially.

  16. Top Secret GTR looks hotter, with bigger, darker rims it'll be awesome. The orange R35 is equivalent to a big, oiled up pole-dancer. Too much sex, not enough foreplay. Smokey is good at foreplay methinks R35 bodykits will be interesting, but i'm DHYING to see what mechanical mods the big tuners will come up with. Can't wait to hear a 1000hp VR38 blaze through Tsukuba And some Tsuchiya R35 touge videos, maybe even against R32/3/4 GTRs!

The bodykit looks mean and i can see how hot R35 will look with some future styling experimentation Nice to see something other than the factory GTR, losing its boner factor already (EVERY magazine has it featured and EVERYONE is wanking over it) Looking forward to GTR V-Spec (if there is one coming) or GTR-S/GTR-X/GTR-Z tune/or GTR V8 haha

  20. Im having a similar problem. More lag from low rpm and not as sharp when i press the throttle. Around town sounds like i'm driving an NA I'm guessing its either wastegate actuator stuffing around OR this thread made me think it could be exhaust blockage. It's rusted out after the cat so i might pull it off and see what happens.
  21. M3GTR bear in mind that as fuhneh as this is, look at who's saying what- i.e a bunch of Silvia enthusiasts that love the looks/performance/creaming pants ability of the old models. They're attached to what they know, and it'll take time for the new one to grow on them (if ever). All those mofos that hated the GTR proto needed time for it to grow on them...and that only really happened after it was released with a spec list that PROVED Nissan had taken a leap forward (for better/worse). Let's wait and see how Nissan pull this one off with the S16. Hopefully we'll all be holding our nutsacks on the Anzac Bridge looking down at those glowing white docks like now with the R35.

  23. It's not as hot hot hot as the S15, but the exterior has to share cues with other new Nissans (Z, GTR, 350GT) to fit into the family. Shame Nissan is running with the idea of marketing their sportier models to more affluent buyers. Nissan are trying to cut the kiddies (us) out of the equation to make their label more prestigious and therefore more appealing to wanks with money (them). They need to make the Silvia a fun little four-banger like the article says, otherwise they're just going to encourage us to tune like crazy and bring back the 90's Nissan flavour
