  1. From experience, ditch the HKS dumps and use a bell mouth type. Also ditch those expensive manifolds and go back to stockers.
  2. What's the budget? What's the rest if he setup? Exhaust size, fuel Setup, clutch blah blah.
  3. 63's on an RB30 with the right setup would be something special! Have you bought a gearbox yet? Chances are you'll be needing one.

  5. How much power are you after? How much boost is "full boost"? 10 psi or 50 psi?
  6. Check the number on the AFM against these. That'll tell you.
  7. I've just taken up all the slack in the driveline first, dial up go. I have the Nismo slave in mine, I've never driven a c spec without it. Nismo recommend not using it but meh, no issues here. I can't remember how much goes in where off the top of my head. A quick search in the driveline section will tell all.
  8. Looks stockers to me. The rubber pipe behind it doesn't look stretched to accept the 80 mm Z32.

  14. XGTRX. "Response and 2.6" don't go hand in hand. They're buckets of shit and those cranks should be used as road base. The quicker you understand this, the better for everyone in the GTR community.

  17. Would you really not stroke a 26 based block because of it? Some people don't like the "fitment issues" of the 3.0. Cutting bonnet ribbing 32's, strut braces not fitting in 33 and 34's (without bending them), yet want more twist that the 73.7 mm crank offer. When it wears, refresh it. Part and parcel of owning a built GTR.

  19. Can't find the 2.9 rod length. I can only assume it would be around the 118.5 to 120 mark depending on pin height. Ian's is 136.3/90 ( I think it's a 90 mm crank off the top if my head) = 1.514 For what it's worth, after 36,000 km in my stroker the pistons and bores almost brand new. Too much theory, text book reading and not enough STFU and drive it. Refresh the engine at 100,000 kms. That's prob 10 years worth of driving for most people in a GTR. By then most won't even own the car.... Or it's turned a bearing so it needs to be done anyway.
  20. OS GIKEN 3.0 138.35/86. RS ratio = 1.608 RB 30 is 152.7/85 = 1.79 Tomei 2.8: 119.5/77.7 = 1.53 Stock is 121.5/73.7 = 1.648 Duncan, how many kms is "a few kms"? 50,000? 100,000, 200,000?

  22. If you build a NITTO 3.2, you'll have your bottom end left over anyway.
  23. It will help A good 2.6 crank is a dead one ... Or used for road base!
