  1. Bit of an update. Done about 500 kms and used upto boost setting two. It has no problems coming out of a second gear corner at 5000 RPM, get on it and turn tyres. Can't wait to try setting 3 . Car is going back to get the shims readjusted after it's cam and retainer change. It seems to have all settled now and it has one or two noisy ones. Bastard! Rear diff is booked into get its rear diff sorted on the 27th.

  7. Buy GTR BOV's, plumb up, job done. They do the job and really is a no brainer. I dare a standard GTSt BOV would do the job.
  8. That's what I'm running at 470 RWKW on E85. Pretty much stock ignition system.
  9. Ethanol Content Sensor plus a decent ECU. There really is no argument of "it ain't close to me so I can't run E85" anymore.
  10. Ill try and get some audio of them tomorrow. Standard GTR BOV's with a factory airbox. They still making a noise, not sure if you can hear much outside the car though.

  16. As above. I had one and pulled it out. Buy something fuel solenoid like a Blitz ID 3. Much better control and features.
  17. The whole 'lethargic, but when it comes on.... HOLD ON' thing... Isn't that just turbos making the power they should, but being a nugget through the mid range?
  18. No doubt. A mate in 05 had a -5, standard engines GTR making 300. That was considered a half decent result. Now it would be considered a joke. Setups, fuel, ECU's, exhaust sizes (a 3 inch IS NOT BIG ENOUGH) and possibly tuning methods have come along way!
