  1. That's only what Nismo recommend. Get some verniers out and take some measurements of where those rivet looking things are in the clutch disk. I would imagine they wouldn't be much under 7.1 mm.
  2. So what you're saying is that you can wear the plates down to being paper thin?
  3. Coppermix plates are 8.0 mm even new. 7.1 mm they need to be replaced.
  4. Terry at Award diff and gearbox. 1/18 Anvil Rd, Seven Hills NSW 2147 9624 6600
  5. Got a graph? Throw it up in the EFR thread?
  6. Pete, have you read much on the evoM forum? Some guys that went 7670, a lot go "bugger it, I'm going 8374". The guys that go 8374 step up to the 9180. It's quite funny to watch. If you want 400 KW and that's it a 7670 might be the go. But reaper on here is cracking gates at around 4300 RPM (from memory) on a stock engine (it does have the baby v cam), makes 470 kW using a 8374/1.05. You'll have a reasonably high comp 2.8. Speaking to a few guys that have these things, the dyno graph doesn't give a true indication of how they drive. How soon are you going to make the decision?
  7. That's even a nugget result for you and you're Mr. Lag
  8. I'll bet my left nut that if you drove it, it won't "feel" like that. Show me a set of stock position twins that will make 32 psi by early 4000's, make 550 kW on a 2.6L. Bit of homework for a Friday night.
  9. Not bad for a laggy single
  10. This is in a mates RB30. OSG 5 speed, stock 5th gear. Can't wait till its tuned properly
  11. The 8374 itself is the best bit of 15kg... Heavy prick!! It will be interesting!
  12. Engine or wheels ? 9180 BW 6466 or 6870 (bit big) PTE
  13. How much power do you want?
  14. Single EFR for the "-7/-9 on a stock engine" type of build.
  15. They don't fit in stock locations. They're way too long. This is what twins look like The smallest twin EFR's (6258's) will do 500 wkw on a well sorted setup. Brightey who posted above has a set on his RB28.
  16. Bit more playing around tonight. A squeeze of the throttle from 90 km/h. 1.4 bar BEFORE 3000 rpm in 5th.
  17. Have a read on the evoM forum. http://www.evolutionm.net/forums/evo-engine-turbo-drivetrain/533438-new-bw-efr-turbo-thread.html That's the link to the EFR thread. Start reading from page 100 or so. Pretty stout thread!
  18. They don't. I spent a fair bit of time with them trying to get them to do one. No deal. Pete (from Hypertune) said they have just started making a high mount manifold for the 2JZ boys. RB's are next. Late next year if you're lucky. Those cast collectors are amazing though.
  19. Who's manifold would you use for that?
  20. Forget the 0.92. 1.05. Better setup for when you realise the 7670 is too small
  21. I didn't drive it mate. I was only passenger. The Z for what it was performed very well. Considering stock engine, open scroll... Realistically a basic setup. The Z was cracking gates at 4500 rpm in second gear, to be doing that at 3700... I doubt it. This car had -5's removed and 8374 1.05 bolted in place. I can try and explain how it was. Put all the theories and "I believes" out of your mind and drive it. It's the popping around, doodling around and gear changes that was most impressive. "Big laggy single", think again.
