  3. I had a similar setup and maxed the turbo out... At that stage my engine had done 140000km and has had a rough life... Ran it on 360kw where it was thrashed... It now has the HTA turbo running 390ish and has 149000km... It's all in the tune! There is no magic number that will make your engine safe.
  4. Like i said in the PM man, you need all supporting mods before you put on a turbo... Remove the turbo and courier it to Stao... When you get it back tow it up to DVS JEZ and get a nistune installed and tuned...

T88-34D It looks like you are new to the forums so do yourself a favour and have a good read of the RB25 Dyno results thread, have a read of the turbo threads and also the guide to modifying your RB25. The site already has all this info as it has been covered many many times. The site is very helpful but you need to read and learn.

  12. Was laughing at the GTI, pushed it all day and covered 350kms... DTE was still showing 400+ when we got home! I would have been on my second tank of ethanol by then haha
  13. Mine? About 9000km... Including a close call with a lean out and also overheat (Haltech ECU protect stepped in luckily).
  14. Also good ole NECKNOCK too man! Will go check out this Metford one in the next few weeks, mine was tuned on Eflex E70 so chucking it on the Jezmans dyno to check all is good with the 85 in its guts!

  17. 500hp at the engine maybe but on pump fuel you will be in the 400-430 region at the wheels. As for the 044, my single maxed out at 350rwkw (I think that is 470hp maybe or close enough).

Was trying to get motivated to work on it on the weekend which i TRIED, but no go... injuries are preventing me from driving and working on it and its giving me the shits! Lol well you will soon have that sound everywhere you go! New HTA is sneaky sneaky, not a sound to be heard! I guess it takes away the surge slot myth as it certainly doesnt whistle even though its slotted! Lol well if you are single pegging you will fit right it with the commodore boys Stock and perfect service history! Only driven to the shops!............................................................................. JEM is a shop right?
  22. Depends which RB25 and what supporting mods etc... Condition of the engine? How it's been treated? Intended use... Go find the 300kw+ unopened thread which will answer all your questions and allow this Thread to be locked.
